I'm originally from Darwin and most of its correct *Except* we check the BOM not to stay dry, but to dance in the rain!! 😁 and to know where the storm is to go watch it/photograph it. For a Darwin kid thunderstorms mean Christmas is getting closer!!! Storms = Christmas feeling. You forgot cyclones (and thankfully we have aircons now, in the 70s people went to bed naked or in their undies... there were a few naked people after cyclone Tracey because everything blew away so quickly!!) Aaaaaand I have no idea what yeti merch is... 😂 And it's Dick Ward Drive, which joins Coconut Grove to Fannie Bay. 🤣 We wish we could buy a heater, for when it gets to below 20°C 😂

Nah, more important than the eskies, are your sets of thongs, generally your around the house and gardening thongs, then your every day knockin about, going shopping and fishing thongs, and then your very best formal occasion, going out to dinner, weddings, Funerals, and Christening thongs (double pluggers mandatory here for formal occasion wear). And of course any Darwinian with any self respect at all, scrubs and cleans their thongs at least once a month - whether they need it or not.
