If you prebake the fender first to outgas it you get much better results

We usually outgass aluminium parts but have not found a need to outgass steel parts and this fender is made out of steel.

This fender is made out of steel. Simple degreasing is sufficient.

We have used around 100 grams of each powder.

Do you ''spray the powder on like paint, doing many light coats or just layer it on ?

You simply do a one layer of powder starting at hard to reach areas and finishing on flat areas that are easy to reach. Powder will not run down like paint would so a single layer is fine.

you cannot use powdercoat on plastic parts as they cannot whitstand 180 degrees

Yes, we have built it. It is our prototype oven and a final version of it will be available for sale soon. It is made out of laser cut galvanized steel sheets and a fireplace insulation.

Can i use powdercoat paint randomly or i have to use a special powdercoat paint for tribo gun? Thanks

We have many customers in Europe who just buy random powder on ebay and get great results. This seems to work because tribo powder coating guns are popular in industrial level in Europe so most powder that is sold here has been formulated to work with both tribo and corona guns. In United States this approach would not work as tribo guns are less popular there and most powder is corona only. It is always a good idea to ask a powder retailer to take a look at the powder datasheet under "application equipment" line. If it mentions "tribo" or "tribostatic" there then powder is suitable.
