Being vegetarian is a great first step, have you considered going vegan? Eggs and dairy are arguably just as cruel as meat, and not very good for you anyway. There is lots of amazing, delicious vegan food available so you won't miss it. Best wishes!

I get what you're saying. And thanks for adding to the conversation. The distinction I'd like to make with this video of "Power/knowledge" has to do more with ACKNOWLEDGING where our options are limited. So yes, in that respect vegans have even less power than vegetarians. But I"m not making a case for becoming a vegetarian in this video, and therefore being a vegan isn't really "the next step". Since that's not so much the point of the video. Do you know what i mean? I think it's an important distinction, not because I'm being a smart ass. But I want to encourage different types of conversations around how we choose to eat what we do. We need to think holistically and include everyone in the conversation, and not just force one agenda. I believe. My belief, is that you (as a vegan) if you really want to share your message of becoming a vegan, it's important to think about how to increase knowledge, and increase options on the menu related to plant-based eating. To talk about positives, and value adds for people (rather than speaking in negatives). It's all just a theory at this point. I'm asking more questions, then I'm giving answers. And happy to continue the conversation to anyone that would like to join in.
