I actually found you through your playthrough of the OG Life is Strange back in 2017! I'm not sure if I'll stick with the playthrough the whole way in case I want to play the game for myself, but I'm so happy you're playing Life is Strange again!

The drinking bird is a cool toy that 'looks' like perpetual motion but it's actually a heat engine using the difference in temperature between the room and the glass of water you "feed" the bird. it's pretty cool.

45:30 she moved before Arcadia Bay was destroyed, Before The Storm was before 1st LiS and she wasn't in the first game I hope that in the Wavelenghts DLC she will explain why she left because in this game she didn't even mention Arcadia Bay or Chloe/Rachel

Oh my god, you have no idea how glad I am to see you're playing this, Welonz. I've just finished the game (it was awesome) and I've been looking for a playthrough I'd enjoy watching. I've taken quick looks at other playthroughs, but they just weren't for me. Too hectic, no focus on details or even the storyline. Your playstyle on the other hand, like in all of your previous videos I've seen before, is exactly what I love to watch. Thank you so much for doing these kinds of "old school Let's Play" videos. Reading the messages on the phone, taking time to look at your surroundings, it's all these little things that make me feel like you're not just showing off the game to your audience, but rather like you're really discovering the game yourself and letting us tag along on the journey. So I'm not sure if there's anything like this for the PC but for PS5 there's haptic feed back for things Alex is sensing. If it's something happy or mellow it's a softer gentle kind of feel on the controller. If its something angry, intense, the controller goes wild that puts you in the experience pretty well. Like its pretty intense

5:57 as someone who grew up in foster care and got lucky (my foster family all but adopted me as I was a crown ward but my foster family considers me their son and i call my foster parents mom and dad and my foster siblings my brothers and sisters) I can confirm most of the time when a foster sibling is moving on/being adopted it is for the most part well wishes.

17:35 yeah sadly in foster care siblings who have an age gap (lets say ones 15 and the other is seven) they are often separated because most homes cant take both a small child and a teenager.

Wow, this start was pretty impressive, especially in the level design compartment, but also with all the texts about Alex's past. Excited for how it goes. Thanks for playing it Welonz, and for taking your time as always :D Back when the game was announced her ability reminded me of a character in the audio drama "The Bright Sessions". I recommend it, it's on Spotify. But anyway, it's extra interesting with Alex cause it seems like she's forced to mimic people's body language in a way too, hmm. Also the "I can't do drinks" message from her might be related to her power? Maybe she loses control over it when drunk, idk.

I was just so-so on the last LIS and didn't think I'd get sucked into this one... yet here I am, and it's not bad so far. They clearly did a lot of work on the faces, etc. Sort of worried about the kid going mine exploring with the blasting scheduled later. Wonder if you'll get to go LARPing. The original LIS might've been the first thing I saw from you (if not, I feel like I found your channel around that time - around the time it came out?). The others are right, you're a perfect LPer for these.

The game feels like a vast improvement over the previous ones. I'm not liking the setting quite much, however, the small town feels like a Disney version of alpine americana. Does anything like this exist in real world USA? I have the feeling the answer is no.
