I remember the old days and trying to build a system. Everything has advanced so much. I jumped in last year again and purchased newer equipment. Solar panel. Victron controller and such for a big old lead acid battery. Just got my Power Queen in today. It's charging right now. Portable power station. Great Video.

If you wire two of these batteries in parallel and draw a 100 amps from them. Each battery will share the load, correct? Each battery will see 50 amps?

Wow. - thank you! This video has taught me so much! I had a lot to learn about the solar package on my small RV I just purchased and this helped me a LOT. I do have a question though. I just brought it home and had issues in the beginning with the solar extreme package I upgraded to. Turns out the young man who installed it didn't know what he was doing. I took it back twice, and got it home three days ago and the batteries seem to be losing their charge quickly. I'm not on the road yet, it's parked in my driveway. Overnight, I haven't had any draw on the batteries, the inverter panel told me there were .2 amps coming out. Not TWO, but POINT TWO. By the morning, my batteries were down 1/3. I have this exact battery you just did the video on. I have two of them and 600 watts of solar on my roof and a 3,000 watt inverter. Is it normal for lithium batteries to drop voltage that fast, or is there still something wrong after he fixed it twice? My inverter is an inverter / charger, which I thought would always supply a trickle charge when it was turned on, and it has been on all the time. I appreciate any help I can get! Thank you!

@@TheSmokinApe I had nothing else in the coach turned on at all. I switched the fridge over to propane, so the only thing drawing from the batteries overnight was the inverter. This morning, the batteries were down 1/3 again according to the Inverter panel, the solar panel and the "idiot lights" is what I call them. So I left it, since I was doing hurricane prep. Two hours later, the batteries were down another third, so I turned on the generator and fully charged them in an hour. This time, when I turned off the generator, I also turned off the inverter and have used nothing else in the coach. I checked the voltage about six hours later and the batteries hadn't lost ANY voltage with the inverter off. So, process of elimination, it's the inverter. Does that mean he still has it wired wrong?

Thanks for the review. I bought one for my trolling motor, but haven’t hooked it up yet. Can these be stored in a waterproof case while pushing my motor or will it overheat? Does it need to ventilated? Thanks
