It used to bug me SO MUCH as a kid that all the marketing had Rita in purple, so that part of my brain prevents me from enjoying the Rita figure. The nerd child in me is too loud to ever let that go. LOVE that they're doing Bulk and Skull though. And yeah I still have my reflector badge thing! Love that this video revisted the live show like that! Great work as always!

I got to go to Power Rangers live when i was a kid in Albuquerque. Course it was much smaller venue than this. It didnt have video sceeen so we got Zordon's face in green lights talking to us reflected on the ceiling. Cool effect for the mid 90s.

I pre-ordered them as soon as I saw them available (Oct. 5). It says they're available to ship approximately July 1, 2024. However long it takes as long as they're done right, I'm patient. I'm excited for these two figures. I thought they'd never happen. I have wanted Bulk & Skull figures in the 5.5" line (these being 6" is fine) since my childhood. I still have my Bulk & Skull and civilian rangers of the 3" PVC figures/(cake toppers?) line that came out in the '90s. Someday, those will make a cool display for me to look at. For now, they're safely packed away in the attic/closet space upstairs. Now, if they make a Squatt & Baboo in this 6" line I'll be set. Unless they make a Dulcea. Then I would need that figure, too. I wouldn't mind some Super7 ReAction figures of Ivan Ooze, Tenga warriors, and Dulcea as well. THEN I'd be set and complete with my Mighty Morphin collection. The price is high, but well worth it for these, in my opinion.

I had tickets to the live show when it came to Birmingham in the UK. We lived a few hours drive away and a few days before the country got covered in heavy snow (for the UK) so driving wasn't safe and no trains were running. I was gutted and so was my Mum. The tickets had been a special Christmas gift as it was the first Christmas without my Dad being present (he had moved about 7k miles away for work and wasn't able to be there due to his visa) and I was really upset about it.

I went to the live show and loved it and the program that I got actually said there were 2 sets of performers one for the east coast that I saw and one for the west coast and the actors voice were recorded and played back during the show I may still have something from the show but not definite cause of moving to a new home in the same city in 1998 quite a bit of my rangers stuff didn’t make it over to the home but it was a fun time to be a ranger fan cause of things like the live show

Well seems like all early 90s shows had a live action stage show in the US. Never knew that existed. The super 7 line is shaping up quite nicely. Goldar and tyrannosaurus zord are the only 2 I’ve collected so far. The rest haven’t really impressed that much more than the lightning collection to start another series for me. But bulk and skull coming is a big thing. Thought we would of seen them before now. Will probably see the boom comics morphed versions with the LC before civilian I would guess.

I don't think I ever saw a Sesame Live thing... but I did go to Sesame Place as a kid, and they had a little show there. I did see Muppet Babies though. Pretty sure that was Madison Square Garden. I enjoyed that. Little-Bruno LOVED Muppet Babies. It was cool seeing them live, and with all of the giant toy props. Always love stuff like that.

I can say that this is a licensing issue but also they had to go with the live-action version as the original coloring is now owned by Hasbro. I want Bluk and Skull, I didn't go to the live-action show because it never came to Australia. It's the Power Blaster when all five ranger weapons are combined

I've read many times that it isn't possible for the earlier seasons to be released on Blu-ray because of the type of film used in the US footage. I don't know how accurate that is. However, if that ever did happen and by some miracle earlier seasons were remastered in HD, or even if only SD on Blu-ray with less compression and missing audio restored on the episode Welcome To Venus Island... I'd buy Mighty Morphin through In Space. And Dino Thunder.

I saw the live show in Wilkes Barrie Scranton area. I still remember before going to it how they were going to handle the "zord fight" and was a bit disappointed with it just being screen footage.

I wasn't sure how else they would have done that. They're puppets and guys in suits on TV, and lots of individual shots bringing the Zords together. I didn't really expect them to re-create the Zords on stage in real time if they were using Japanese footage for the TV show. If I had to guess prior to seeing it, I would have assumed they just wouldn't do a Zord battle. It was somethin'. I know they have a lot of these shows in Japan, do you know if they ever do anything with Zords?

Well soon super 7 will run out of figures to be made so we would get probably remakes after all mighty morphin related stuff Then can get hasbro’s extension with the partnership for zeo turbo Space But that feels unlikely since Lightning collection has been slowed so most probably Hasbro would focus on it’s own line until quality improves and then super 7 could make a comeback with other seasons (That doesn’t mean they cannot make power rangers stuff they can but only mighty morphin idk about Alien rangers maybe What I picked was that the collaboration was exclusive for mighty morphin)

Almost positive the license is just for Mighty Morphin. That's usually how it goes. I know lots of people want to believe companies will slow down to improve quality, but in reality they're all trying to get the figures made as best as they can be for as cheaply as can be. Might end up with a figure with more articulation than ever before, more accessories, more paint, on everything, but then also something that has some problems. The better the quality, the more it costs. The cost gets passed on to the consumer, b/c companies need to make a profit to stay in business. The figures are already expensive. Even 10+ years ago when I'd talk to Bandai they were talking about rising production costs and meeting price points. I guess not always so easy to balance. Some unfortunate QC issues aside, we've been pretty spoiled in recent years. The figures we're getting are nuts, and if one isn't good you have easy returns with Amazon and Hasbro and Super7 also have customer service. Never had a single bad figure I got stuck with, and most are fine. In the entire LC line, I've had to send things back two times, and was sent replacement heads two times too (A-squad pink and Dino Thunder white).
