Guys don't forget one important thing.. Man power/Employment, you can't produce everything no matter which country u choose, you must import some things...it's up to you which one u will import and which one u will sub.. to produce. Never import final product, your goal is to produce final product and sell it, so try to import things what helps u to produce final product and u will sell it for higher price, u will have money to pay that import + u will have profit. Keep your unemployment arround 4-5% is the best lower than that will slow ur economy. Pain in the ass is to subsidize water supply networks cuz is so expensive so what u can do is go slow... don't rush with economy and subsidize's with big amounts.. let your country grow and whatever u change wait few weeks/months to see effect and ur country to stabilize after trades, subs.. etc.. that's a key. If u do all right but too fast.. u r doomed.. u will have more problems and bad things than good.. cuz everything is connected in this game like a chain.

Regarding 20:38 I know nothing about economy but I thought that tariffs discouraged import of products in favor of local production, as an incentive to both keep industries inside the country (ie. reduce "offshoring", not sure about the term there, when industries close to re-open in another country) and create more jobs inside the country. A positive thing on paper but quite nationalistic and probably not liked by foreign countries

Pls can you help me. What i don't understand is the following: I played around with the Aluminium Production (and other productions too) in the USA. What i noticed is that whatever i do my sales price stays the same. It looks like the sales price is fixed and the only the purchase price changes. 40 years played and the sales price is the same. To test this i cheated and imported Bauxit and Watersupply at an extremly low price. Both needed for the production of Aluminium. Also i reduced the price of electricity by 100%. In theory Aluminium must be cheaper than before. But that is not the chase. Its like the imports doesn't do anything. My purchase price gets higher and higher. Its now exactly the same as the sales price. And the sales price is the same as before. Shouldn't the sales price be lower now? I mean i reduced the manufacturing cost. It seems the sales price is fixed. Also why is the purchase price rising. Shouldn't the purchase price fall? I mean before i imported Bauxit and Water at a much higher cost. Lets say 150 for Bauxit and 50000 for water and 207 for electricity. Now Bauxit is imported for 19 !! Water for 3000 and Elcetricity costs 0 (cause i reduced price of my electricity. i have a huge electricity surplus) In theory Aluminium must be cheap as hell in comparsion to before. I don't understand why the sales price is fixed and why the purchase price is rising when i am lowering the manufacture cost. My Excel Testing sheet is now 30 sites long. I tested the effect of every change i made and put it into Excel. (price reduction, more workforce, imports/no imports, higher price imports/lower price imports) xD

The game continues but even annexing a country as a spoil of war doesn't necesarily mean the end of conflict as many times the former countries political parties, unions and or associations will form into terrorist group or rebel groups and continue waging war against you. I tried reunifying Korea and did manage to annex the south as the north but the rebellion/terrorist group that formed from the fall, maintained waging war against troops in occupied cities. Occupation of cities would continue going back and forth until it became fiscally impossible to keep going and my own government overthrew the head of state.

@henkvisser97415 жыл бұрын
Could you *pretty please* tell me why any new oil/gas wells dont produce more the 5 million toe? Also no matter what I do in subsidies the manpower stays the same. Most stuff is pretty doable to understand by trial and error but this code I just cant crack unless I do boring tests for hours and hours. My test set-up is: China, the 2 starting oil wells produce 100 million toe. I build 3 new oil wells: 2 close to the 2 starter wells That are in a very weak area (just as the starter wells) and 1 on the average spot. Results: the 2 very weak ones produce 0 toe and the average 32 million toe. So the average well produce less then the very weak starter oil well...So I tried to sudsidize 500 million + exhonorate and wait a year. The production barely changed. it was up by about 200K toe on the 100 million ones but nothing on the 32 million one. Also the energy window keeps showing me the cross for "no production" next to conventional oil. I cannot sudsidize the "oil" sector (the one that is split up in the 2 subsecors conventional/non-conventional). so Question 1: How can someone fully take advantage of newly built oil wells? Does it take longer then 1 year? that brings me to question 2: it says "annual reimbursment over 5 years" when I build, so that means I get the invested money back over 5 years? Or is that the annual build cost and is the oil production ready to go only after those 5 years (about 6-10 days real life play time....By that time China captured half the world). I would really like to know, thx in advance!

Hello friends! if I sell 10,000,000 steel, for example, in a 5-year contract ... the contract is for 50,000,000 during those 5 years? or is 10 000 000 divided during those 5 years? (2 000 000 per year)? The income of the money for those commercial deals where it can be observed in the tax screen? other tax revenues? income generated by companies? etc.
@ThePoliticalMoose5 жыл бұрын
10,000,000 in a 5 year contract would be a Volume sale, meaning that by the end of the 5 years you will have supplied 10,000,000 while they paid x dollars. Look at it as I'll sell you x product with this amount (typically large quantity) so normally your highest produced sector in finance at x rate for x years, regardless of Market price fluctuation. Large contracts do over a number of years otherwise infusing too much money into your economy will cause growth to skyrocket, with that comes inflation. aim for a 5%-5.5% growth rate to maintain a healthy inflation rating. Small production goods can be made in short term contracts say a year or so. The only way to directly see the profits of that trade deal is to have the sector nationalized (don't always recommend). What it will do though is promote growth IN that sector, and increase your productivity % in the world, certain sectors do better with scientific discoveries, thus can sell the goods at a higher price. This growth will cause you to take in more money via taxes you have in place.
@theloniousmonk815 жыл бұрын
@@ThePoliticalMoose thank you! My interrogant is because if you see, upper in the contract it says...annual volume sale... I understand that we are talking about an amount of x product in a year... Talking with other people they said me that is of this way. Are you shure? How can we know it? Thanks my friend.
@henkvisser97415 жыл бұрын
In my experience it is what you sell per year, for 5 years in a row. Notice "products aleady under contract" under your production and how production doesnt change if you change number of years? Also if the average sale price is 2K, and you sell for 3K, you have 1K more in sales. Then if you have an income tax of 20%, you have made 200 more then not doing trade. So if this is in billions of K, you have made 200 billion more income tax.

How can I reduce inflation??
@rhanson11245 жыл бұрын
Choli Zgz, Raise the interest rate if you are not part of the EU, as inflation is the growth of the supply of money over the economic growth causing the purchasing power of money to decline. Raising the interest rates contracts the supply of money by lowering the demands of bank loans and the bank loans that are taken more money is paid in interest which usually remain deposited in the bank. On that same note it reduces consumption and investments as higher interest rates encourage people to save their money in the bank. It usually also helps to cease government spending when inflation is rising.
@jaredpeterson53355 жыл бұрын
@@rhanson1124 I 2nd that. Inflation happens when there is an abundant amount of money out in the market or available to the market. By raising interest rates you are raising the prime rate which is the rate that banks pay to borrow. When interest rates are raised you are reducing the supply of money to the market. There are pros and cons to everything though. By increasing interest you will slow economic growth and slow or reduce inflation, reducing interest rates will stimulate economic growth but increase inflation. It's just a balancing game. Also, I dunno if it's in the game or not but the government can also manipulate inflation by issuing government bonds or having the federal reserve buy back bonds. When the government issues bonds they decrease the supply of money and when it buys bonds back it increases the supply of money.

If you click on top right on your country or compare yourself with another country in diplomacy after right clicking that country, you can check your parties stance on things. The left wingers just rise up in protest more often then right wingers but if I for instance play Israel in 2016 and raise tax on high income, ill get a right wing protest eventually.
