@@jessymangala78 take for example Young Thug who has some of current day raps most wild vocal deliveries and cadences or Travis Scott who has basically single handedly changed the landscape of modern trap music with his phsycadelic style or Future whose dark, drugged out style of trap rap has also been extremely influental on the current generation of rappers. There are also some "mumble rappers" that have matured with time and are currently making some of the best music of their careers like 21 Savage or Lil Yachty. Hell, even some of the most innovative people in rap are currently active for example Asap Rocky and Tyler The Creator. I recomend you take a deeper look into modern day rap music because some great music is still being released every year, if you like more lyrically focused rap then J Cole and Kendrick are still making great music while Joey Badass, the Griselda collective, Freddie Gibbs, Big K.R.I.T. and more are making some of the best rap music of today. I suggest you stop being so stuck in the past and open your mind on more new music.
