Excellent book! Agnus Dei is a condensed version of this book. It’s good too. They stuck with what Maria Valtorta wrote, just leaving out the things already in the Gospels.

The Eucharistic miracles to me are amazing! The Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo matching up as well. Christ wants our faith but He has given proof for the Thomas's.

There were some really weird conversations between Our Lord and St Peter regarding Our Lady that I read in that book. Some things I wouldn’t even describe. I would stay away from Voltorta’s writings.

YOU are so gravely mistaken. I've read Poem of the ManGod over and over,till the pages are falling apart, and EVERY time it becomes ever more clear and fresh. ( You should listen to this priest s interview with Monique, Mother and Refuge, re what the secular authorities said on checking her descriptions re plants ,places and more) But akin to this priest s pseudo Catholic teacher at 'Divinity School ' who took away Faith ( like the parable of the seed and the Sower...ie satan taking away the immutable Word of God) When my sister came back from Medjugorje and told us what Our Lady had said re The Poem of the ManGod, in the affirmative totally, A while later a friend of hers who had also been to Medjugorje, several times ( one has never been there) said like yourself, she couldn't take it. Why not, we wondered? Oh she liked scary creepy novels....to the Truth. Sad to say a while later she became a 'recluse ' Unless you become like little children, the Mysteries of the Kingdom if God will never be revealed to you. And scales of cynism will cover your eyes, maybe with lies.

@@francesdoogan6694sorry, I was just giving a friendly warning about troubling things that are absolutely found in her writings. The people who advocate Valtorta’s writings seem to have a very unhealthy attachment to them. If one calls into question anything regarding them, her adherents attack their character and intentions like hounds laying in wait. That’s very unhealthy.
