I love how the X6 jump is so infamous you can just call it the X6 jump and any Mega Man X fan will know what you mean. That was the jump that killed the series for me.

@@noboty4168 its an extremely hard jump youre obligated to do in order to progress through Gate's Stage with X, no matter what you do with him that jump is hard as hell, but with Zero it's trivial since he can double jump

So in gate stage 2 theres a jump after the mid boss that's actually a time sink super boss with no time to go back and refill. If you somehow beat that boss with the x armor that doesn't let you use special weapons you are entirely fucked unless you can do a near frame perfect string of inputs including having to use your giga crush. That jump is one of the most hated parts of the game

I’ve played Mega Man X6 Twice. And I’ve beaten Commander Yammark’s & Shield Sheldon’s stage with No Armour X. I’m proud of myself as I’m pretty good at the game.

I haven't seen the full video yet but so far this hack reminds me of those mario maker levels that expect you to use weird innocuous knowledge about all the hazards in the game in order to actually win. I don't mean that as an insult, it's actually pretty cool they used standing on the trashed heads as a platforming challenge in Flame Mammoth's stage. That's absolutely something you'd see in Mario Maker from someone interested in using the mechanics to their fullest potential. I also like how Storm Eagle's wild actually matters with the dash boots, I've always felt the fight became underwhelming if you do Chill Penguin first.
