Cool video. But you must know on how you checked the starter gear depth on the starter, first off you did it right, second those starters work with engaging the flywheel about 60 percent of the way OK, acceptable for stock engines. But the info on there video for the reason is wrong, those type of starters have limited throw of the gear as compared to the OEM starter you replaced so to make that reason acceptable to there customers the Co. came up with the fictitious reason of some annoying sound it makes when engaged too far. Other then that those starters work great. And yes you put it in right. Hope it helps.
