PowerPro fishing line - why do all the pros use it?

A little late to the conversation, but try to remember there are quite a few brands of "Braid" on the market these days. However, there are much fewer "manufacturers" of Braid out there. So many times people make comment about this brand or that brand, you have to remember it might be a different label, or colour, but it could well be made in the exact same factory......

Just wondering here, with this proline be good for trout fishing two or what. When it comes to trout fishing I always use 8 pound test line. Also I was wondering too here, It's proline better than stren and trilene at all.

powerpro is overrated in my book. way too thick for its line rating, much prefer japanese or euro lines for sure

Then as they say, “dont buy it”. When you say OVERRATED, you imply there is a quality issue…and there isn’t. It might not be the most suitable for your application, assuming jigging or popping when you mention Japanese or Euro (think PE) rated lines. If you want thinnest, then go MaxCuatro., Many of the PE’s lines we have played with undertest…We are talking power pro for saltwater, backing applications. Trolling reels, offshore reels. For this application, its rock solid, made in USA product. Everyone loves different braids, I get it. Power pro is a solid choice, consistent product, great quality.
