I have dynoed the spacer on my 8th gen accord and it added about 10tq to the wheels and some hp also. Power drops off about 500 or so rpm sooner but hey, for 90% of folks, you will be in love with that mod. Makes driving the car around daily much stronger.

This is the best breakdown for this subject aside from all the other YT vids. The old Bseries B18 to B20 mani off the CRV we called it the Giraffe 🦒 and no one ever ran em' on an Integra bc hood clearance, too much low end torque & you lose top end. Same explanation 💯🎉

Curious about buying these for my 8th gen v6 auto. (08 accord) I currently have a full exhaust, rv6 j pipe, rv6 high flows, throttle body spacer, short ram and I'm on ktuner with the provided tune and some slight adjustments for crackle. If I got the spacers would I need to get a proper dyno tune to really see the gain? My assumption is yes but some insight would be nice. Appreciate it!
@PowerRevRacing8 ай бұрын
You dont need to do any tuning after installing a spacer.

You need to have the p2r conecting rods. The stock rods are too weak for high power
@wiimaster28476 ай бұрын
The 8th gen Accords with the J35Z2 really suffer because of that lack of low end torque, because of the camshaft setup. I bet this would fix that issue.

I have a 2006 Acura MDX 3.5L. What can Mod can you recommend for better fuel effiency and more HP? I think my MDX already have a stock Spacer. How much advantage do I have with just placing the Thermal gaskets to my original Spacer? And, will a Trottle Body Spacer also help? Thanks. Great videos guys. Will any of these Mods throw off any computer readings, calculations?

Can we have a comparison of all the different J-series intake manifolds? I see many people swapping to MDX even when they have a newer manifold. Is the MDX is still the best opition for stock intake manifolds?

I have a TL type S, I'm using a J37 manifold white J37 throttle body.... would you use a J32 intake polished with the OEM throttle body size vs my set up? I have no converters and a ATLP J pipe as well..
@PiterStreak8 ай бұрын
So the manifold he was referencing was a 01-03 TL type S j32a2 manifold. Not sure if it'll work on a 07-08 type s but I've never seen anyone run it. P2r does have an old Dyno comparing them and the j32a2 manifold is the best one for a j series in my opinion. Second best is j37/j35y and then the others. From what Ive learned, throttle bodies don't add enough HP to be worthwhile. I've seen many dynos on v8 throttle bodies, and the gains are not worthwhile. 3-5hp gain I've seen on a 90mm throttle body vs a 105 on a v8. Tuning by Nick did a throttle body comparison on a k series and going form a stock k series throttle body to a j37 gained 5whp peak and a few hp here and there throughout the graph. My set up with a supercharger made 666whp and im using a stock j32 untouched throttle body.

TB spacers affect plenum volume rather than runner length. So it will react differently. We are setting up our new dyno now and we are going to be doing some good videos breaking down power curves with different parts.
