Agree, missed opportunity. There are 2x tests online from Tegiwa and Superstreet showing the RRC as the winner up against Skunk2 and others.

@@mikellewis2346 RRC beats RBC for peak power in all the tests I've seen, but all differences are only a few %. You might get slightly more power lower down with RBC but it's minimal.

Great test! The AFR graph overlayed would be a nice thing to have. Also , I suggest , ecu was fine tuned for every manifold to have same afr during runs, so resulting VE curve for every manifold would be also a nice thing to see.

Need to test the middle intake with a plenum spacer as well you will find the longer runner with upped plenum volume will probably be your best over all combo

Yeah, doing the baseline with an RBC/RRC would have been nice. That way we could see if the pro series manifold had any gains over those OEM manifold

Awesome test, thanks for sharing! I definitely wasn't expecting these results, especially the similar low end torque. I would have thought that the Ultra Race manifold would have killed the low end torque with such short runners. It would have been awesome to see a baseline run with the stock K24 manifold though so we could see the difference. The OEM RBC and/or RRC manifolds would be a great comparison too so we could see if upgrading from an OEM manifold would be worth it.

Please show how it compared to a stock RBB manifold! My stock K24a makes 220hp and 200ftlbs at the tires. As a track car I feel these all would drop torque that the RBB has. Helps pull you out of the turns.

No base line HP numbers. What was the stock intake? They give the power the 4 skunk 2 set ups gave them. Always need a baseline. Good info for the intakes but doesn’t tell me if the 1st one made any real power.

In a drag race. The ultra race with the spacer will win. When shifting you’ll be around 6k rpms and that’s where the race manifold shines.

Do this with a j32a2 with the p2r holley intake and the j35 magnesium intake. Seeing what is better that has been an argument for a long time. I know you supposedly lose power on a na j series with the holley adapter kit, but guess what I bought it anyways I couldn't help it lol

Quick question, Can the skunk2 manifold be installed without a tune and do I have to upgrade the piston rods? I was thinking about upgrading my daily 2012 TSX to make it a bit fun before I build a NA k20 to replace the current engine. It will eventually become the project and Id have to get a new daily at some point. but till then I would like to have some fun with it current stock motor till I crops out. Any suggestions
