Becky, your heart embroidery is so pretty! Perfect for Valentines day. I've never used 75/11 embroidery needles, even when suggested. I use Organ 80/12 or 90/14. I also don't use prewounds. Wind my own with Finishing touch. I've been machine embroidering since my first combo machine (Viking) 1996. Hope this helps. Love what you call your bat storage "Bat Cave" LOL!

Hi everyone. I finished my blocks for Valentine wall hanging, just have to sew it together. Wanted to let you know. I have a Stellaire XJ! embroidery machine. I did the heart cutting it after placement line. I used mesh stabilizer, cotton batting, Marathon polyester thread, DIME prewound bobbins, 75/11 needle (always use this size), and I had no problems. Just wanted to let you know. Will post picture after sewn together, quilted and binding sewn on.

I use to have a lot of shredding problems on my Stellaire. Tried different brands, both Organ and Schmetz. I switched to using the needles that I use for my PR 1055, Organ EBBR 75/11. Zero shredding now on my Stellaire.

In re: to helping the fire victims, have her check with Project Linus National. There is a protocol to getting goods to disaster victims.

If you have giveaway stuff, high schools would take for kids to learn to quilt.
