Thanks PPJ. I would advise my younger self especially my 20s to be more intentional and deliberate in everything I did. I was just flowing with life, for example as long as I had a job I would relax and life moves on. But now I know that just having the job is not enough, you have to set goals for promotions and climbing the career ladder. You have to strive to perform. Success to me is subjective and it is achieving whichever goal one sets. For example now in my 30s, I write down a set of goals at the beginning of every year. And if I achieve those goals then I’m successful and I celebrate every bit. If I set out to get rid of acne and by the end of the year I clear my skin, that’s success to me

I have mindset shifts often because of the I learn and discover along the way, today it will be " doing your best can look different everyday", and tomorrow it will be " forgiveness is for you and not for the other person." It is part of an active life to keep learning and evolving. Such intellectually stimulating conversations are what keep us on the track of self reflection, life analysis and make mindset shifts feel easier. Love it😍😍😍😍Something I'd advise my younger self to do, is to be more individualistic. Love something because you love it not because people love it and just because someone found it hard doesn't mean you will find it hard.

Joel, I totally get you. As an introvert, I'd also always feel the energies in the room as well. So I always matched energies(I'd check and read the room, then see what energy to bring in). As my younger self, a leader, even when I wanted to stay in my shell, and I found avroom full of people who didn't want to budge, and yet things needed to move, then I had to step up and drop my shell, and take charge to set the ball rolling! But all in all, even when I don't say a word, I'm always well aware of the energies in any given scenario.

As an introvert, I actually agree that we soak in people's emotions a lot. I love how he said J said it, introverts tend to be people pleasers and they also feel everything everyone is feeling and its such a burden and its painful tbh. the way I want to be part of the conversation 😭😂 I think we don't necessarily do the careers we wanted to do as children but we still try to be the people we wanted to be. Like I may not necessarily become a doctor but my heart will still try to do something that ensures I am helping people. Oba that makes sense?? So I get what Allan's kids say, maybe we all felt that as children? and then people started asking us about careers??

Interestingly enough. No matter what I advised (warn) my younger self. I know that she is the kind of person who won't listen. So I would encourage her to be herself. Live her life the way she wants to live it. She is smart enough to understand what is best for her. Whatever mistakes she makes.. she will be able to live with them. Cause she is strong enough, intelligent enough, intuitive enough to seek a higher power ( God) or love and guidance. And just like Pumla mentioned, success to her will be about having social, emotional, mental and financial independence

May I attempt to answer Joel's question at 1:03:00 about how no one in the Bible was practicing Christianity as we know it today? Abraham was instructed to sacrifice his son, yes. But that instruction was unique to Abraham. God has not given and we can say with some certainty that he will not give that instruction to anyone again, as he has already given his own son. All the stories in the bible in fact, from Genesis to Revelations point to one great event - the cross. It's foreshadowed in all the Old Testament stories from the fall, the sacrifice of Isaac, the covenant with Noah, the covenant of Moses, the judges and the prophets. All those people, without having the full revelation of what was to come like we do, were walking with the same Christian God and within the same principles - righteousness by faith not by works, through Christ's death on the cross. On the issue of Christianity becoming routine, I agree 100%. Most cultural christians have not taken the time to understand their faith and conform their lives to their beliefs. Instead, they choose a lifestyle and seek to justify it with select Christian principles.

On the contrary i hate to be the buzz kill but i wanna point to the faith discussion.... like a relationship with God and rules are one and the same.
