I don't know how you do it, but I get your advice every time when I really need them! I learned the hard way to prepare scripts for video will take way less time then trying to fix all mess in post :)

Excellent tips, brother. And a teleprompter is a must! I’m still trying to figure out how to use mine without my my eyes left to right. I guess all the news anchors have to master that, but I can’t figure it out! 😂

Thanks, dude! Yep yep, it just takes time, however like I mentioned, it really helps to have the margin width be as narrow as possible. Give that a shot if your teleprompter allows it. My script shows up at about the width of my camera lens.

@ SMART. I have the Parrot promoter too but it’s def wider than the lens. Most wouldn’t notice it, but I do 😎 I’ll give that a try!

Great information as always… I have a creators question… do you keep all of your Final Cut Pro projects files or delete them … I am accumulating a lot of files and I wonder should I keep them or get rid of them thanks

I used to delete them, which was a mistake. Now I keep all libraries, projects and media. I use Dropbox.

Thank you for the pacing note! I always think I need to speed up, but I realized that: a) I don't like to watch fast-paced videos myself (too anxiety-inducing!) so why would I make them; b) most of my audience is women over 45 (many of those over 60) who are watching to chill out and get some creative inspiration; and c) the most popular creators in my niche are not fast talkers. Oh, the misguided pressure we put on ourselves!

Fair enough! It's useful for KZbin, but obviously not something I'd recommend for client work, unless of course it's a jump cut from A camera to B camera
