A great video to refresh my memory on tips I was aware of, but forgot about and to bring my attention to the brilliant 'Slip and Slide' tip. So many times I've dragged a copy of a clip above the original, moved the start of that copy, then adjusted the end to keep it the same size of the original, then swapped it out back into the timeline!! 🙈 Yes I'm a fool!! 😅 Oh and props to your thumbnail for this vid! Awesome design 🔥👌🏻

i think i have seen it before but for example.... I have an adjustment layer and i want to change duration to make it go all the way to the end..... Isn't there a quick button to make it do that with out me having to drag the edge to make it go longer? Because right now I always have to grab and drag.
@dylanjohndickerson3 күн бұрын
Hmm well you could press Control D, time in the duration you want and hit enter, but I'm not sure that's faster. Unfortunately there's no automatic adjustment.

Heh... funny how out of place the Optimized Media and Proxy tips feel with today's Apple Silicon devices. I guess those 8K users, or those using manufacturer-specific codecs may still use it. But I suspect most of us haven't worried about proxies in years.
@joelvanmeer29713 күн бұрын
Still using an i9 without using Optimized Media and Proxy Tips…. That being said, rendering 4K files can get slow…. Nonetheless, still haven’t bothered to learn how Optimized and Proxy work.
