I laughed out loud when I saw this video. Not because it was funny, but because once you show the purpose of the opening move...it seems so obvious. But I would never have worked it out on my own. Thank you so much for putting these videos out there.

I'm a bit late after 5 years, but im Traditional Taekwondo we have a lot of so called Hyongs (which are the equivalent of the kata in karate). I've found, that many movements are shared and that the same bunkai can be applied. If you'd like to deconstruct and analyze one of our hyongs, I'd very much enjoy to watch that video as well. Thanks for your videos! Helped a lot! Keep going and enjoying what you do👍🏻🔥

check modern MMA, whenever they clinch against the cage there is the fight for head position. The movement is pretty much the same is the grinding that you're doing with the head, combined diving with legs to keep the opponent pinned against the cage.
