I think the most important take away is that successful people HAVE a morning routine. You don't have to copy one of theirs, but instead, use it as a template and edit it to your personal goals. If you want to be the #1 singer in the world then your routine should include something that ties into that every day you are getting a little closer! Love it.
@marshalhaynes30076 жыл бұрын
I DEFINITELY recommend developing strong routines. That helps immensely in any endeavor, and that causes a snowball of success. Once one area of your life gets in sync, others areas do, too, almost automatically. The trick is consistency. Have a buddy of mine I used to work out with. In the beginning, he pushed really hard and did 200 sit ups per day, maxed the bench press every day, etc. He quit after two weeks and has never been back to the gym. That was 1983. I work out lightly but consistently, and while I've never been in great shape, I keep myself in reasonable shape. Another GREAT career/life resource is a piece titled the Hatchet Man's Playbook. Can't recommend it highly enough.

something i do that can appear weird but helps alot. im a student, and often have long solo hours for study per day. something i do to make me feel better is to dress up in a "suit-like" fashion. feels much more real when i dress up and make myself look nice even if i wont see another person that day. another tip, read in different languages and different topics. also try to allways learn a new language, i do it by memrise and different kind of fiction litterature.
@abidsabanovic81887 жыл бұрын
krutogge hmm. What language would you suggest, I also have that in mind but not sure about the pick and the techniques
@krutogge7 жыл бұрын
Abid Sabanovic im in a country with lots of arabic/middle east emigrants. And also have friends who speaks it. So for the moment its german and arabic. But the economic part for arabic doesnt seem big. But its fun to know how to say words and know some basics. I should really try to learn a latin language like spanish. And would recommend, i have some studies in medicin and bioscience so i allways get to know new words from ancient greece and rome/latin. Would recommend to get better in eng. As My studies is mostly in eng i dont often Care much to improve it, but if eng is second or even first i would recommend to daily read non fiction litteratur to improve the vocabulary. So a list. 1. Improve mother language 2. English and improve. 3. Spanish or a benificial language depending on your location. 4. Medical nonfiction Words. 5. Most benificial for you. Close economic country perhaps. Whats the second language stated in your country. 6. Spanish 7. French 8. Mandarin or russian. 9. Arabic, a load of different accents doh, but its commen traits through out all of them. So i would propably recommend spanish. I read daily in 3 different languages often. And 2-5 different books in motion. Exluding the studies.

B. Chan quite the contrary, a lot of successful people do mimic other people, especially considering most successful people have mentors, or advisors. To Do List must be made a night before. And before you get up, you review in your mind the daily schedule. Be always one or two steps ahead. Clean up from the night before in the morning? No. It has to be done before you go to bed. Also, don't make a mess that require cleaning up. Neat and tidy, organized, minimal are successful people's secret, too.

I am actually finding tip 8 to be reverse for me. In the hours after I wake up, my mental, cognitive and creative ability are at their highest. Therefore, it is the best time for me to do any task that requires me to think; such as studying and writing. The menial tasks that require little to no thought, such as cleaning; I find are best done later in the day when I am tired/unfocused.

I like to spend 10-30 minutes tidying up my house, weeding in the yard, and setting up evening chores like starting a load of laundry. It gets me moving and feeling productive. At the end of the day I do another 10-30 minutes of wiping down counters, washing a few dishes, folding the laundry etc. it helps to mentally stop my work day and focus back on the home. I can’t work OR rest in a cluttered environment!

Unfortunately, the single worst habit of us people who are failures is that we sit around watching KZbin videos all day long. But if we were not failures watching videos, the people who make these videos would not be successful. So, at least in one sense, we failures make it possible for others to be a success.

Waking up early discredited the video a bit for me. By waking up at five instead of six you don't have an extra hour, as you still have to get the same amount of sleep in order to function at the same level. By default you'll lose the hour in the evening. It balances. However, waking up early can make you feel like you have more time, leading to more productivity. Once you've realised there isn't actualised productivity... well, you might as well be going to sleep at five.

I woke up at 4-5 am, didn't help me find a job, and in the afternoon I was so tired that I had to rest or take a nap. If I wake up very happy and grateful, I usually end the day sad and sorry, or angry. The opposite is also true. I have been doing silence (meditation), affirmations, visualizations, motivation for years, without any result in the real world. I started doing yoga, salute to the sun every morning. After a few weeks I got a bursitis (I was surprised because I have been doing some Indian push ups for years without this happening), and had to stop. Now I only do that when I really feel good. In this light I believe that the most important factors to succeed, are your genetic metabolism (your energy level) and your relationships (the social circles you were born in, or those you can enter, mostly through your wealth or good looks). Luck and hard work come only second in this game.

You're right, it does release serotonin and it helps me start my day off in a grateful loving way and I've come wildly more successful in my career and life having done this for the past three years. :)

Can you bond with a pet? For example, go on a nice walk with your dog to get your day started.

No, no, no. :/ Affirmations work differently. And the 8 is really speculative... You should better clean your table at the evening, because you need to spend the morning time by doing really mental difficult work, not with this non difficult stuff.

I find cleaning in the morning lets me disconnect a bit from work and prepares me to dive back in. I'm clearing my space but also clearing my mind. That said, the same habits don't necessarily work for everyone!

This is more like how to work yourself till one day you realize you should have retired in your sixties but "success" is more important. Than one day you secretary walks in your office and finds you dead in your work chair, head down on your desk in your eighties. Instead pace yourself but don't procrastinate, be kind to others and youself. And of course the #1 most important, live and love Christ Jesus. He is the one who sets the standards of what REAL success is in life!!! Jesus bless you!!! 😄

@ Marcia C. Thank you for your comment - I completely agree with you. There is no better way to start a new day than thinking of the love that God has for us and feeling his presence (God really loves us deeply, all the evil things on this earth are NOT his fault, he only wants us to be happy and following his paths of light, truth and joy)

I dont typically look for videos tp be inspirational, but have found it beneficial. This video was a great simple 10 step way of improving things. Not required to follow all of them, but its like finding a toolbox. When you open it, you dont need to use every tool right away, or ever if its not made for a project you would apply it too. However, looking at the tools that apply to you and having them to be more productive is worth a look in the tool box. I am somewhere between an introvert and extrovert, it varies with the situation. But overall I am more of an extrovert. The Silence tip was something I really liked. I modified it to include music, but as a dj I turned the volume down to allow clear headed thoughts and still have the background music. But I told a couple family members that lean into introvert category much more than myself. They have tried it last 3 days and came back to say, it has made a great improvement on their overall daily outlook. So definitely check out these toolboxes, and find what fits you. Something I learned to do as a person with adult ADHD is write down everything on my mind in a journal or notebook. This helps me fr loosing sleep worrying about forgetting to do something, and them mixing it in the a.m. to create my todo list. Expecially since Microsoft bought wunderlist, and made Microsoft To Do. It's a great digital tool, and connects all my devices to have the synced list. Along with Samsung's Note8, which has the active digitizing stylus, with artistic level stylus features. The Note8 features an ability to make a quick note on the screen when its not activate. So when your not actively using the phone, and its a black screen you can still jot down quick notes. And when you log in, you can place them where they are needed. A reminder, add a contact, search a topic, pick up at store, etc. As technology evolves, it is something I enjoy the functionality to help life productivity, but also realize, that it shouldn't be something you let become more important than your real human face to face interactions. If at dinner with friends put it away, not just on the table. And take a period of time away from your phone, expecially if you have a smartwatch like the Samsung G3 Frontier. You wont miss a vital work correspondence or a emergency call from your kids, but can treat it like a normal watch during your detach from social media time. Statistics have shown higher amounts of time, spent on Facebook have increased levels of depression. As a entrepreneur social media is vital part of business, but taking time to seperate from work, increases productivity.

Nobody needs to take instructions from anybody else as far as what success is supposed to be in the first place, so nobody needs another nonsensical list of arbitrary ideas regardless of how well planned and/or thought out your theory might happen to be, or not be. Instead of Practical Psychology change the name of the channel to Monotonous Living.
