EJ you did something very smart and its advice that was given to me. Compare yourself.......to yourself. The piece from October in comparison to the piece this past month shows the progress you are making and the marked improvement. Watching all these YT videos with people who make it look easy one has to keep in mind they have been doing this for years as well as working in production (and under pressure). Its easy to get discouraged but this is a great video not only for me but for many others as to what it takes to really get into tig welding and how to enjoy it.

Heya, you’re doing really well. I have welding stainless steel for years and do it well. Welding aluminium is a whole new way of thinking, still struggling with it 😢 You go for gold.

I'm not a great welder, but my 1st lesson was solely on getting yourself comfortable before you strike an arc. It was great advice.
