"When the student is ready, the teacher will come." In my life, my "Mr. Rogers" Rick is perfect timing. We love him.

I appreciate you Rick. I also love the conversations that you have with your son. I like that you can say that you can be uptight at times. It makes me feel better. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing some of your mistakes and helping us to know or remember that we *can* with understanding forgive ourselves in the presence of our own flawed but remorseful humanity. Your comment in your lecture regarding establishing our own core ethics and integrity outside of the random subculture into which we have beem raised - or the dominant culture or family culture is the essential step toward being woke. We must week from the state of Hipnosis into which we were though by the repetition of punishment and a reward within each in any of those domination system so as to honor or authentic knowledge of what is good and what is reprehensible and what is to be followed versus what is to be rejected. The path to intellectual and emotional independence within an interdependent system of other seekers if we are fortunate is often lonely and painful. Openness to criticism being a central component of Buddhism aligns with my understanding that being open to both express remorse and provide forgiveness are elements of a healthy system of integrity.

I truly appreciate the exploration of these themes and particulary liked the practice at the end, imagining guides at our side when we feel inappropriate anger, eg, Tara Brach nodding and signalling to you while nodding , 'Be a little careful. Don't go too far into this." That's a nice refuge. I appreciated all the practical steps of working with these states.

What if in meeting new people they constantly want to highlight and explore what they perceive are your mistakes, when you do not. The conversation is predictable. Once a woman can say I am married, she is instantly approved of and talks about husband and kids. A linear shot to the throne.

At 30: 10 Rick says that we inherit an Integraty/value system that is BS. I agree

Those are not mistakes, man. You make us feel like we are bad for our mistakes. "Falling from a truck" "breaking a dish" CHILDREN do that!

You think you are a "gifted" leader. I feel sorry for you.
