Destruction of Kumari Kandam happened around 11700 years ago (somewhere between 9700 BC to 9500 BC) during the last major ice age glaciations. During glaciations it can trigger Tsunami’s. It may have caused multiple Tsunamis’ causing death and also people would have started moving from that place. Before analyzing the maps and all the names of the ships that are used and coming to a conclusion based on textbook knowledge one should consider the concept of “Under Water Erosion” and "Submarine earthquake” commonly called as Earthquake under the sea. And also the location where the Kumari Kandam is proposed (Based on other evidences) lies on the triple junction of the tectonic plates ( Indian - African - Australian Plate) . The oldest recorded Submarine earthquake occurred on 1700 AD called Cascadia earthquake . We don’t have records more than that. So with todays technology of whatever the map you are proposing may lead us to nowhere. Multiple "Submarine earthquakes " and under water erosion would have happened during the past 11000 years. We can’t conclude at this point that Kumari Kandam was a single landmass of that size as quoted or it was a group of islands or just the existing land ridge which is submerged surrounding the Southern India and Present day Srilanka until a proper Archaeology Excavation is done. The present Indian government has no interest to do such things but can carry “Dwarka Excavations” to prove other theories.

A type of Mongoose from Madagascar is found in Australia and now have mutated into different spices....now scientists have proved both animals have the exact same DNA pattern....and main thing is that animal spices is not found anywhereelse in between....this shows once upon a time there was a land connection there....and that is a wild animal so people can't transport that purposely.... check this....

@@1Dorayaki3005 bro happy to see people reading and replying my comments.Indian subcontinent was rifted from GONDVANA supercontinent before 160 million years but this merged with eurasian plate before only 55 million years.during all those days Himalayan region was nearly submerged into the tethys ocean(whale skeletons found in Himalayas).after due to tectonic plates movements, it collided with eurasian plate at a rate of 67cm/year during mid-jurassic(possibly yali could have lived here due to this)and now reduced to 5cm/years but still active.during this collision north side elevated and south side submerged(this line is my assumption because all the rivers expect narmada and tapti flow in bay of bengal and sunda trench is 7000+m deeper).the oceanic water currents arabian current and bengal gyre also more stable making the surface flatter clearing all the bathymetric evidences.
