Outside of Toronto parents have started learning pods. Small groups of parents have started using church basements and hiring private teachers to teach their children to succeed. They stick to reading, writing, arithmetic, history with context and perspective and financial literary. Good luck to us all

This is an amazing concept and a way to ensure our children have a learning journey the way it should be directed. When my grandfather had his own children... he 'volunteered' with the school board. It was not a paid job then. It was concerned parents who had skin in the game...their own time...for their own children...for an academic education. Parents need to be involved in the education they want their children to have. The government does not raise your children better than their parents.

I have loved homeschooling, which we began in 2015, and prior to that it was one of Connor’s “grownup books” that got me thinking about it. Well, that and Facebook friends who were moms who were already homeschooling and preferred it.

So glad you all work more as a team than adversaries. We can't win alone. There's also Ben Carson. The destroyers are so pervasive, flooding the world and the market. It’s really not that difficult if you have biblical values. I just told my kids it couldn’t watch something and they didn’t watch it. Also, I didn’t give them a cell phone until they finally turned 14 years of age they had no choice after we couldn’t homeschool them anymore, that they had to go back to public school and unfortunately they had to use a mobile phone to do their homework. But with rules that we said in the house, our boys turned out pretty good in that area. So I’m very grateful that my wife and I were on the same page of helping our boys become better men today because of what we did to establish basic rules.

With all due respect, home schooling is not an option for parents who aren't wealthy enough to have one parent stay at home.

I know it's a hard thing to grapple with, but we are terribly poor and we choose to continue to homeschool instead of sending mom to work. It's about sacrifice. Like Jordan Peterson has said, we don't get to choose whether or not we sacrifice, we only choose what our sacrifice will be. I'm not telling you what your sacrifice should be, only that money is not the ultimate answer for being unable to homeschool.

there is free curriculum online, Easy Peasy homeschool, Ambleside ..there are alot of free resources, you just got to sacrifice and be willing to jump in by faith. That's what I did, and thank the Lord He helped me all the way through. TY Jesus.

All of YOU need to come out with Homeschooling curriculum, or support a curriculum to make it popular. So many parents want to homeschool BUT the world of curriculum is massively confusing! Every parent of older children that were homeschooled have changed curriculum over and over through the years. So, More choices means more homeschoolers and/or if curriculum is cheaper than even more homeschoolers!!! Homeschoolers are removed from from the indoctornation from school at least. I also know many parents have to work. So there are co-ops or even better, churches everywhere need to become co-ops! To help educate on the topics these moms can't help with.

I miss going to my public schools kindergarten through highschool and my favorite subjects are still U.S. history and world history books and classes and social studies and reading books classes and i have had prayers and done Pledge to the America flag Allegiance and standing up for America flag long time and putting up American flag every morning and putting down the flag schools out at night and out of bad weather and have flags in every class rooms and i really really wanting to stay in my U.S. history classes and World History classes and social Studies and history on biblical history and biblical world map and how Egypt was built thousands of years ago and that actually proved that Biblical times and Bible stories was correct actual truth history of earth is 6 thousands years old and science can't really provide proof of a millions of years old earth since Egypt Pyramid and Grand Canyon was a layers of flooding world wide of Noah's Ark times sea shells on top of the highest mountain 🏔️ shouldn't be there and soft sand shouldn't be there and different types of layers of ground in the Grand canyon are starting to be washing away in less than 100 years so my grandparents lives on a hill next to concrete road and in the front yard providing proof of land sliding downward and the yard and front sidewalks to the front steps of grandparents house all starting to eroded away in my younger years as a kid growing up to adulthood and providing proof of actual world flooding by God and as a young kid i even asked questions about why earth has a jigsaw shaped patterns on North America matches with Africa and as i really think that earth was small and lands was shifting around during the world wide flooding during Noah's Ark times and America was moved around and there was less water ocean separation different overseas countries and i asked my history classes teachers about land marks jigsaw patterns and he doesn't know Catastrophic Plate Tectonics Pangean movements because North America was actually in below china and others overseas countries was in the north poles areas there was no north poles and no south poles during the Noah's Ark times thousand years ago God created water shooting up from the ground as well as water shooting downward from the sky breaking apart lands and rest is flooding in freezing temperatures flash frozen animals and fish and dinosaurs together with humans beings spit seconds buried ALIVE and layers of ground over lapping really fast like the Grand Canyon.

I really missed my public schools kindergarten through highschool history classes and World History classes in 1970s through 1983 and things have started to change worse in 2008 through 2024 when public schools kindergarten through highschool and college and University not being able to teach kids correctly and no U.S. history classes and World History classes in classes anymore and no more biblical history and biblical world maps to study and no Prayers and no Pledge to the America flag.
