Hey BJ, great vid as always my man. A carb video would be great! Showing what size carb to use on what cc Chinese engine, the differences between PZ19 vs 20, etc. and how/when to service a carb would make for some good content! Just my 2 cents, for what its worth 😎. Great to have you back.

You spend almost as much on carb cleaner as you would ordering new, they come pre adjusted, new filters, and new plugs, and new fuel lines and clamps for $20-$25

Great build as usual and your advice has helped me a lot with my recently obtained really poor condition Chinese quad bike. I share your frustration and pain when you have to diagnose some weird intermittent problem. Mine was due to a blocked jet in the carburetor because the previous owner had removed the fuel filter thereby allowing rust particles and other fine gunk to block the jets and had also accumulated in the bottom of the carby bowl. Thanks so much for sharing. 😉👌🏻

I hope you are doing well-- I've had 13 surgeries but still keep crawling out to the backyard trying to get my neighbour's grandson's 110 cc Zongkang quad going. Have replaced all wiring. The starter spins on a bench test but when I put it on the atv it won't spin. I apply direct current to the starter case and all I get are sparks... am going mental over this thing so I really enjoyed your rant... the language coming out of my backyard is not fit for sailors, lol! Have no idea what to do next but it will be aggravating, whatever it is!

As you mentioned in the video, a carb video would be great. I recently have been fixing on an old chinese atv also and ordered a new carb and wiring harness, but it still ran like crap. Just this sunday I noticed that the main jet in the carb did not have a hole in it at all. No hole what so ever... Really annoying and must have been a production error, but after drilling it with a tiny drillbit it actually works now. Just wanted to share that ;)

Great to see you back BJ! You’re the major inspiration in my own Chinese atv obsession/hobby so I’ve been slacking on fixing all of mine for the past year, now it’s time to get back to work! I have a question about plastic carb spacers: I notice you’re not running one on the 125 in this video, I keep having them crack and blow out on the first run with my 110s, not even heavily torquing them, just lightly tightened. Do you recommend not using spacers at all? Thanks man, you’re the best!
@SpyFryTF22 жыл бұрын
Does anybody have any input on these spacers?
@StevenChaosCloud2 жыл бұрын
It’s all about the spacing you have if you need one or not. You get the same result with just the oring on the carb next to the input shaft. All that matters is no air leak.

I have a 125 ice Bear ATV and who I got it from tore the wiring apart. I thought it would make more sense to get a new wiring harness and rewire it back to factory but I'm having issues with not getting any spark. I have a three pin plug on the back side of the harness that goes into the brake light that I do not have the brake light and there's a two-pin plug next to it and I have no idea where that goes because there's nothing back there for it. I also have it black wire and the yellow wire with a green line with two clips on each end that I have no idea where it goes to and another two-wire clip. Same color wires. I can send pictures. Just hoping you get this message

@PraskaBoysGarage2 жыл бұрын
The mounting brackets are the same, however you might run into a head clearance issue with a 110 or 125 as they are a little longer. If it looks like you have plenty of room in front of the head than I'd assume you would be fine! Thanks for watching!

Great videos. I came across your videos when fixing my first troublesome project. I am wondering if you have ever come across the Zhejiang Jonway ATVs? I have a 110 and 125 that i am currently working on and the carb and witlring are slightly different than the more common ones. I have managed to figure out some of the 110 wiring but the 125 seems more complex. It has lights and an instrument panel with gear info display lights. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated since most of the parts that I am finding are different for electrical components. Thank you!!
