Just make sure to not beat yourself up too much. Your content is amusingly entertaining and if you restarting means that I get to watch you play FTL for longer then as far as I can tell this is a good thing.

@Pravus: It might be advantageous to cloak AFTER the enemy has fired. Thus he will miss and then his recharge is blocked. This should give you more save time, especially with rockets. The exception are of course beam weapons and drones.

It's not guaranteed to miss when you're cloaked unless you have at least 40% evasion before cloaking, since cloaking only increases evasion by 60%

@@lavaleader3455 It might not be guaranteed, but it's a damn low chance its gonna hit, and you're still blocking their charge for their next shot. Also, this really only works if you manage to stop them from shooting once at all, which only works for the very early game

You should activate your cloak once they've fired their first volley at you, the bonus evasion makes it a practially guaranteed miss and they won't be able to start reloading giving you more than enough time to get 2 volleys of your own off.

13rednas the game has an extremely steep learning curve. My recommendation, play on easy, keep the wiki handy to know the outcome of events, pause a lot, and watch a guide or two. You’ll get it eventually

If you vent out the oxygen before a boarding party goes on your ship, they will only go to the rooms with oxygen - thus giving a greater chance of them teleporting on one of your crew members.

I can't imagine anyone running a youtube series wouldn't back up your saves, I mean what if it failed to record? just go into the save file, copy the file to a new folder, its protected. then only use the save if you fail to record or otherwise ruin the save.

Pravus, just a heads up you’ve failed the environment hazard achievement as nebulas count as one, little tip to avoid this and go for the achievement in future is to learn what areas are dangerous as any area that gives the DANGER warning that will the achievement Also when you’ve closed all your doors from de-oxygenating your ship from enemy’s aboard your ship, open all your internal doors to refill your ship with oxygen a lot faster instead of waiting a while for your ship to fill up again

dude put a crew member on the sensors and you will get info of the power bars and wepons of your enemy . that way you will know when activate your cloak and how muhc damge you need to disable the enemy subsystems /+ your tecnique its wrong you should shoot your wepons before activate the cloak cause your wepons charge faster thaen his wepons that way you cna shoot twice before get any damage dshields are not necesary on this ship-
