Yes he hits me straight to the HEART. There is nothing like the Holy Spirit speaking through man in my town. So after church I come home and listen to what I need to hear from Mr. Washer. Just a man, if uou don't think they have approached him to be on the big stage, TBN than you are lying to yourself. And yet he has not! He won't sell out to Satan like the Joel olsteens of the big stage. I see people praising him and idolizing him. please do not. It bounces off of him straight to God. And those idolizing him are not doing any service to God, or themselves.

I praise God for Paul Washer! Though I believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an experience apart from Salvation. Paul, got saved and then was filled with the Spirit(Baptized with the Spirit-See Acts 9:17 find out for yourself). We do not received all we need when we accept Christ, there is more as we seek Him. The disciples of John the Baptist were believers but ignored the Baptism of the Holy Spirit but Paul ministered to them and they were filled as well! God never gives us all that we need at once He wants His children to seek Him. Like he never tell us all about our future it is the same principle! I still love and respect Paul Washer, a great Servant of God!!

Luiz C; "...Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an experience apart from Salvation". APART from salvation. Is that so? When we examine the word salvation used throughout Scripture, you will find that Gid declares of Himself that He is Salvation. An obvious one is Psalm 27:1; there are many more. Salvation is also a work of God - Exodus 14:3; Psalm 74:12. Salvation is a garment that we are clothed with - 2 Chronicles 6:41. This is a most interesting statement. Jesus said to His disciples before He ascended to Heaven - Luk 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. The power was of God - not separate to God, but of God. The word for endued is enduo. It means to be invested with clothing - to sink down into a garment. Simply put to be clothed with God. That power was not some vague force, that God invented or created out of something other than Himself. John the baptizer said that Jesus would baptize believers in the Holy Ghost. Matt 3:11 Baptize is to immerse, to whelm fully, to saturate. God is our Salvation. The Holy Spirit is God equally with the Father and the Son. So when the Holy Spirit was sent, and fell upon the believers, they were clothed with God the Holy Spirit. Can you see the connection? They were clothed with God who is our Salvation no less than when they first believed in Jesus. When we first believed - that was the beginning of our salvation - the work of God in us. That work has not ceased. And it will not cease till we are raised in the resurrection. God's work of salvaiton in us is a work in progress and its chief end is to bring us to perfection complete completeness in a tangible and visiblle sense in Christ Jesus - who is not only our Saviour , but also our Salvation.. Salvation is for the whole person. God is for the whole person - spirit, soul and body. the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer; the Holy Spirit cladding - clothing the believer. Sealed inside and out. That is what was required for the ark Noah built, sealed with pitch on the inside and outsde. Noah had to do that. Noah built that ark for the saving of his household, according to the express word of God. What Noah did in preparing the ark, was to shadow the coming of the both Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit..

Paul washer is a man that fear God! Never has I seen a priest that fear God like he does. If God didn't convert me back into Catholic Church I would definitely see if he has a group in the west coast to join. I gave my life to God after God the Father reveal Jesus is real to me. From that point on God had brought me through many trials. I totally try to listen to the Holy Spirit. Doing everything God wants me to do. Not easy at first as I do questions myself of the things I was able to do before where as now it's too hard. But God taught me that i should be a passenger and he'll be my driver. In another words don't beat myself down when I don't see myself doing what I did before God is moving me to another stage. As long as I communicate my concern with God than I just let things be as it is. My focus is I must keep God's commandments and do everything that is pleasing to God. Thank you brother Paul for loving God much. I'm praying for everyone to have conversion and be open to Jesus so he can helps us and give us the graces to be holy.

He is absolutely right. I hear some even famous preachers saying GOD doesn’t speak to people anymore. That the only way to hear from him is by reading the Bible. You do hear from him in his word but the HOLY SPIRIT also speaks to us and I don’t understand how they can say that. Has he never spoken to them? Never worked in their lives? But they are teaching this. I always say show me where in the Bible it says he stopped talking to people? Where does it say the gifts of the spirit stopped? I think if it were GODs will that you reign down fire from heaven for his glory he would give you the power to do so. But it may not always be his will or for his glory so it doesn’t happen. At the same point if you look at what JESUS said about when he went home to Nazareth and preached it says he couldn’t do many mighty works because of the peoples lack of faith. Maybe that’s why we see so little work of the HOLY SPIRIT today. We lack faith, it’s not his will and it’s not for his glory. I would never try to raise the dead, but it I honestly believed the HOLY SPIRIT told me to I would obey. The same reasons I grew up in a Pentecostal church and have never spoken in tongues. If GOD wants me to speak in tongues he will make me speak in tongues. I’m not going to take it or seek it vainly. I just trust and obey. Or I try to but I will never put a limit on GOD or believe something that I don’t see or read in the Bible. That’s why I don’t trust a lot of these preachers or reformers. They have great knowledge of the Bible but little faith. How can you be a pastor and say GOD doesn’t speak to people or that he doesn’t work in peoples lives. Ive heard one man say don’t wait for GOD to call you to ministry some where but if you want to go just go. Well I want to preach but I’ve prayed about it and I have never felt called or like GOD told me to so I don’t. I do share the gospel because GOD directly told me to do that as I go. I would love to preach or start a church but GOD hasn’t told me to. If I did that I would be disobedient. But preachers saying just follow your heart and read the Bible. GOD doesn’t speak any other way. Seems like heresy since that’s not in the Bible. I’m so glad Paul washer said these things. Some one needs to say it. We do have an intellectual faith but it’s also a spiritual faith as well. You have people in colleges who teach the Bible. They know it back and forth but they will go to hell because they have no relationship with JESUS. They are atheist that just know about the Bible and archeology. I had a class in college where the teacher was an atheist teaching about The Bible and how it relates to ancient religions. He went out of his way to try to convince us that the Bible is inconsistent and isn’t true. But he knew the Bible. Had read it several times. He knew specific chapters and verses and who wrote them and how many authors wrote certain books and how they pertained to writings outside the Bible. Some preachers are like that. There is a lot of heresy in the church today. It is extremely important to know the Bible but it’s just as important to believe it and live by it. To have a relationship with GOD. These people almost want to chase people away from true faith. They are supposed to be Shepard’s! Be careful who you listen to. Believe the Bible above all else.

I don't know him personally, so can't say. What I can say is that anyone with discernment can at least tell that his convictions are true. Another thing to remember is that before crying that someone is a hypocrite, it's very important to do some inward self reflectiin. Otherwise, we become the hyoocrite. If our eyes are always on the way someone else lives instead of on how we, ourselves live, we don't have a true relationship with God through Jesus anyway...so, be careful when making these types of judgements. Our faith should never be in a man, but in God. No man alive is absolutely perfect, but God is. Our relationship is with God, not Paul Washer, or any other preacher. That's a big mistake a lot of people make. They put their faith and trust in a man. That's their own mistake. Follow someone long enough and everyone will eventually let you down somehow. But follow God and you will never be disappointed.
