I have enjoyed watching your videos and watching you learn the art of sailing. I do not understand why you have been off the air for two weeks and counting. You are preparing to traverse the Atlantic but it seems you could have prepped a few videos and had someone upload them for you. I think it's truly amazing that you are doing a crossing given your very limited experience of (bigger seas) sailing and boat management, some of which can be very, very scary. That's what you're Exec Cap is there for, I guess? It is a shame in many ways as you touched so little of the maritime Med. Anyway, an appeal to you: can you give more specific details about specific boat preparations? For example: whose doing the rig inspection and how r u preventing chafe? What new pole have you installed (make, length)? Is it on a track? Have u installed a high capacity (240v) roving pump to deal with huge water ingress? What backup systems/spares do you have to hardwired boat systems (eg to your hydraulic steering, autohelm), or are you not bothering? In the meantime, the very best of luck to you all in your crossing.

You can walk the Camino Inglés in 5 days. Ferol to CdS. OR. Camino Vasco de Interior from San Sebastian to Vitoria in 5 days or Santa Domingo de Calzada in 10 days (where it meets the .Francés.). The Basque Camino is beautiful.❤️👣🥾

The wind blows vog at boat. In hawaii when i lived there the wind blew ash Vog from big island volcano across the islands . Paprika is a flavor enhancer

Remember hurricane season starts here in Florida in May and is alllll thru Nov. So keep track of weather in Atlantic and Caribbean. Also major ocean storms in Atlantic over winter. Beware of covid rules.

Hi. Hope the crossing went well. A note concerning your daughter. Appears she is going to US for university. Maybe you are aware, but youth who have lived abroad for years , exposed to different cultures, religions, languages, often have mental trouble adjusting to a US mentality. So prevalent there was, I can’t remember the name now, an organization to help these kids. Please be aware she is no longer an ordinary American. I have seen this mental breakdown personally. All the best in her studies.

Start taking the meds for seasickness the day before, that holistic stuff just is not sufficient. It does nothing for your equilibrium and inner ear imbalance. Have a great trip!

You need to wait till this new virus stain has settle down around the world or you could sail all that way across the Atlantic ocean to find you can not get in any country , And if you sail down to Cabo Verde then across the Atlantic with better sailing winds and a shorter distance to sail .
