I’m a senior in HS and I’ve been considering a Biology or Health Science major for PA school! I’ve also been considering also minoring in Spanish and bc of that, I’m not sure if I should major in Bio bc I’ve heard it super rigorous. Would you say Health Science majors are equally as difficult as Bio or easier?

@@isabellaholland1244 hi isabella! i know that health science majors vary for each school. at my university, the major was a perfect mix of social and biological sciences (including psychology, bioethics, community health)! i did have to take extea science classes that weren’t required by the health science major but are needed for pa school.

I’m a junior in highschool and I was considering becoming a MA, how long was your program? Wondering if I can be certified in time to knock out a couple PCE hours summer before freshman year of college. Good luck to you !!!

@@nikkinicole4990 hey!!! And my program was only a year! I started my program last summer and ended a couple of weeks before my fall semester. I am studying to take my certification exam soon so I can start working next year. I live in Az and luckily my program wasn’t too competitive to get into and had to deal with a lot of classes to take. I recommend it! When I did my externship I came to realize that my passion would always be with people and with healthcare so if you are thinking of going that route DO IT!

Thank you for making this! I’m a senior in HS right now. Next semester, I am taking an EMS class to get EMT certified through my local community college! I’m excited. I plan to use it in college to get patient care hours! Love all of your videos!

I’m a junior in hs and I am planning on doing similar, I was thinking CNA or MA. Obviously I have no idea how realistic working while in college will be for me but I know I can at least work in summers to get my PCE. Good luck to you !!

i made it more of a priority to focus on my classes! so i would work over the weekends whenever i felt like it :) but it’s definitely a personal preference!🤍

Do you recommend taking Trig before physics? Help 😣

Depending on your school, some schools will require Trig before entering Physics. My school has elementary Physics (easier level) and general Physics (higher physics) and for this one you need to have enrolled/completed Calc I. In my experience, Trig was applied to a lot of concepts so having that material really helped. A lot of my peers had to review their high school Trig before tackling these Physics concept's, keep in mind I took the higher level physics because it was a requirement for my major.
