Pre-swimming is a powerful teaching exercise with additional benefits for working the muscles of the buttock, the hamstrings and the stabilizer muscles of the shoulder blade. With pre-swimming you learn to firm the tummy while lengthening tall, and also to activate the Gluteus maximus while avoiding lower back shortening (lordosis).
