I agree.. with all these wifi target cams especially these days. but at least they have the graphics on the screen so you're not completely lost.

I see everyone using tripods, I never see anyone shooting with those over here in east. Does most shooters use that method in the west?

Yes, it's very common in the western US to use tripods.
