@@ImBeneficial oh yeah you will almost certainly get backfires! Make sure you adjust the intake and jets to get proper performance. You'll be outputting more than inputting if you dont adjust the intake .

I have a filter but not the adapter yet what I might do is get a strap to hold the foam filter to make sure it doesn’t fly off and take off the cover that you drilled holes in

If the filter is small enough you can take off the top covor and use the stock filter stud and wing nut. Just make sure that you filter seals right

All right, so this is three years old, so I doubt this is going to help you, but. If you install valve springs, you must install a billet rod and at minimum a cast aluminum or billet flywheel. If you do not, you are going to blow it up if you have not already. The best thing you can do is to leave the stock valve springs in. That will give you valve float which will act as a rpm limiter keeping you from exploding the engine. And even then you still run the risk without installing the billet rod and flywheel.

before you put to many rpm mods on it make sure to get a billet flywheel because that stock one will go kaboom at about 5 grand.

Yes the intake helps with letting more air in so it does not affect the noise just the horse power

@@synshenron798 are you using the predator 212? If so this pipe works great. What you really want for the best performance and adjustability is the mikuni vm22 carb. I have a china knockoff that works great. You will have to adjust the jets for the 212. Not hard or complicated at all. I was intimidated at first but once I saw how it all worked it was a cakewalk.

I'm used to working on older muscle cars but those are old big block V8's I'm not used to small engines and I wasn't super sure how these carbs work as opposed to an old Holley. I was thinkin of buying a mikuni or knock off mikuni but if that's the way to go ill give it some thought. I have to find the jets that came with the kit cause for some odd reason I lost them and Lord as mh witness they are no where in my garage I turned it upside down and back again lookin for em

Engines and airsoft Jack 26 drill it out with the smallest bit you got. It will have trouble starting at first but will thump after really cool. and take out the spark arrestor for the revs.

K&N filters are way overrated. It is a good mid grade filter, but I don't see all the fuss.
