I love how positive you are about your stretch marks, I truly wish more mothers were equally as positive - they're called mummy stripes for a reason, absolutely earned for a beautiful reason - you've grown a little human! Keep up with moisturising after birth, not so much for the fact you can still get stretch marks, but more for the fact you can still get that itchy, uncomfortable, stretchy skin feeling as everything is going down (on tummy & breasts). Gel sports packs popped in the freezer, folded in tea towels & put onto the back of your neck will really help with any hot sweats / flusters (& migraines if you suffer with them!) So incredibly sorry about your friend, I'm glad you decided to keep that segment in though, I don't believe still birth is spoken of as much as it should be - it's an awfully sad topic, but one that shouldn't be so taboo. I'm thinking of your friend & her family at this difficult time. Amazing news about placenta / baby girl shifting! Very exciting! Eek! x

My son came 5 weeks early after a check up following a bleed. I got told there was no way I could go into labour on that day, 4 hours later I was in labour. I obviously didn't have a birth plan written down as it was supposed to be written in my midwife appointment a few days later. But not having a written down birth plan was honestly the best thing ever, just going with what I thought was the best feeling. Good luck with everything. Can't wait to see her 😊 xx

my step mum had that problem with swollen ankles, she elevated her feet at high as she could and it really relieved the pressure so much and really helped. im so excited for your little girl so arrive! good luck when she does decide to arrive!

Also my first was an epidural birth (I didn't have any other paid relief options) and my second was natural (completely unmedicated). My second was the longer birth but I made it through. Good luck Rhiannon! Beyond excited for you as I said before! Can't wait to hear the birth story!

Rhiannon you are the same age as I was when I had my first, so I love watching your channel and almost reliving my first born experience! I have gone on to have two more babies so now at 32 I am mum to two boys 11 and 8 and a daughter aged 2. Two of the rudest comments I've experienced to do with children is 1) was it a planned baby or an accident and 2)are they all from same daddy... Lol you goats laugh at people's rudeness!!! I'm almost 21 and still talk to my antenatal friends (as in I was one of the babies haha) it can be really special to have friends to grow up with. My mums antenatal friends are definitely some of her best friends. Love that go to antenatal as well.

I found the best way to labour at home was to stay in the bathtub. The pain was much more bearable by this method. My husband kept boiling water to fill the tub to keep the water warm. Btw i've had 3 babies. Best of luck to you Rhiannon!!!!

You are so refreshing to watch. I wish I had such common sense when I had my first baby. Everyone wants to give advice and it can be really annoying. The only thing I would say is that I look back and think 'I wish time had slowed down and let me take it all in better' I was in a bit too much of a hurry for the next stage to arrive and maybe didn't fully appreciate things in the moment. Three healthy grown up gorgeous boys later I feel very blessed!! Love every minute of your journey. Love to all three of you. xxxq

I had lots of stretch marks from the time I was 12, once I got to be 17 due to hormonal and mental issues I gained over 40 lbs and now my whole tummy is full! But on the bright side, pregnancy won't change my body too much haha!

I got them around your age on my thighs and they were extremely obvious but can only see them now if you really inspect! Took them a few years to fade, occasionally used bio oil and used baby oil a lot (don't know if that helps).

I had that pubic bone pain you described: it was SPD and it was so awful. My doctor prescribed some exercises that helped, but nothing truly helped until I delivered her!

I think it's a very good idea to announce your daughter's name when you announce her birth. That way, when people have an opinions, you'll have already named her and they won't be able to change your mind! Wishing you lots of luck for your labour and your baby's birth! I just watched your baby haul and the clothes are 100% years sort of clothes that I'd dress my baby in so hopefully we'll have similar name tastes and from what you've said in the video about labour, we'll probably have similar opinions on parenting!
