Thank you so so so so much for this! You have no idea how helpful this has been because I’m trying to hard to create a more secular history approach and I can’t wait to dig into evolution and the prehistoric times with my kids! So excited to learn more from your homeschooling style

I am so glad! It is harder to find homeschool specific info on those topics!

Is that an older copy of the Usbourne encyclopedia of world history? Is it the internet linked one?

Yes. I think I got it used years ago!

The one I ordered is a paperback - I'm thinking I will buy it in a hardcover as we are going to do Pandia Press's History Quests using it next year.

Could you share the ISBN number of your version of the Story of Life Evolution Book. Online it seems that their are complaints that the timeline it too small, but yours doesn't seem that way, so I'd love the get the same one that you have, if you don't mind sharing. Thanks!

Hi Lisa, the ISBN is 978-1-78370-444-6 The timeline is plenty big, but it doesn't have extra pages - maybe that's what the complaints are about? I hope that helps!

I’m planning my prehistory unit and watched these all again - thank you so much for such a great resource! How long did you take overall? With all 3 sections?
@juliaathome4 жыл бұрын
I had planned for only 4 weeks for all three sections, but I think we actually took 5... I think it was 2 weeks for big bang and evolution, one week on dinosaurs, and 1-2 weeks on early man. You could take much more time!

Julia at Home I’m thinking of doing 12 weeks (3 Big Bang, 4 dinosaurs, 5 Early man). I want my daughter to be older before we start BYL 1 ... so I thought this would be a great place to camp out for a while 😀. Thanks again for all the resource ideas!!
