I get, that, cheating on my future self really resonates. I laugh because you would never be able to tell my innate intelligence by the boys I"ve dated in the past! And since those boys cheated on me, cheating on myself just burns!

I have a serious question.... so I started (and already quit) a CNA job.... im not certified they offered on the job training... however... I disliked the job so much I quit after 2 weeks (it was a nursing home) I honestly didn't feel like I had to do this kind of work to be a future physician... like yes I got to interact and provide a service... but my back was killing me!!!! Most of the people are obese and not easy to turn.. sorry I'm rambling, my question is... is me not liking or enjoying being a CNA reflective of me not liking or wanting to be a doctor... is it necessary to "wipe a few butts" to become a doctor.... is this kind of patient interaction necessary?

Hey Megan, I just wanted to say you not wanting to be a CNA is not a representation of you not wanting to be a doctor. There are plenty of doctors that’s never done CNA before. It’s mostly nurses that have been CNA in the past. I did clinicals in a nursing home as a CNA and it was horrific. The smells, the atmosphere, the suffering and the faces of the people abandoned by their families. I personally would never send any family of mine to a nursing home. Try being an home health aide. It’s less stressful than CNA, you only work with one patient and it’s in the medical field.

Haha, I do the same job rn! It is not a reflection of not wanting to be a doctor. I heard even in med school we will do rotations and find out what we like and dislike. It’s all a process.
