I bought the firm ones first, but too hard for me despite being a side sleeper. Just got soft versions which seem a lot better.

The firm pillows have faired a lot better than the soft versions and are still in use on son's bed. Just been plumping them up every morning. The soft versions that were used on my bed have now been replaced as they ended up flat and lumpy. Hope this helps.

When you say the firm pillows faired better, what do you mean?

The firm pillows lasted an awful lot longer than the soft pillows in our experience.

Are the firm ones quite soft too or are they like memory foam pillows?

It's a hard one to say as one's definition of what is soft or firm can differentiate, however for refernce my son thinks the firm are more medium to firm. He has them on his bed and says they are really comfortable and supportive. I wouldn't connect them in anyway with memory foam pillows, from experience I always found them to be too hard for me but again different strokes for different folks. Hope that helps.

Awe, I know what you mean. All I can say is that our personal experience of using both types, the firm has faired a lot better.

No, we don't still have the soft pillows unfortunatly, they didn't fair in anyway as well as the firmer one's in our experience so were replaced quite some time ago.

@@Cruiseblackpool Hubby uses a tempur memory foam pillow, got it from a Tempur outlet so a little cheaper than their standard stores. I prefer using something softer so am currently trialling out a Hotel Grand cooling pillow that I picked up from Costco...so far so good with both pillows, have had them almost 6 months.

HI. The soft pillows I am still using but I do have to occasionally pop them in the dryer to plump them up as they too do get flat. The firm pillows are on my son's bed and he said they are still fine. I think the firm pillows have faired better. Hope that helps.
