@plamenmilanov30098 жыл бұрын
I always knew Alexi was one of the top notch players but i had no idea his rig is THAT small. An Amp, 3 pedals and a guitar with 1 pickup. It takes huge balls to play with gear like this and he is doing it perfectly, while doing the lead vocals as well. My respect for this guy has risen to the sky!

@tommilitello1989 ай бұрын
That’s all that is needed and you don’t need the pedals lol
@carlhungus25214 ай бұрын
thats how rumors get started. For the record, it has been well documented that his "rig" was def not small. Some people say he actually used the weight of his "rig" to hold those arrow guitars upright in all those interviews where he would be sitting on a stool but not using his hands to hold the guitar while answering a question.
@michaelangeloh.53833 күн бұрын
It's often simpler than you'd think. I don't know where the idea comes from that players use or hide behind a lot of gear, even though a bunch of them might have a lot of stuff, it's not always all turned on. I mean, at the end of the day, it's always a guitar into an amplifier and a speaker.

I feel like many Finnish people may not even realize how integral bands like Children of Bodom were for putting Finland on the map for much of the world. If it weren't for Alexi, I might never know the wonders of Suomi perkele. I now know it to be one of the most Metal countries in the world. Thanks to COB I eventually discovered Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Ensiferum, Rotten Sound, Nightwish, Apocalyptica, Lordi, Wintersun, Moonsorrow. I don't hesitate to say that I digged Bodom's sound the most out of all of them. RIP Alexi!!!
