When you present him the new toys , do it when the baby comes home and say it’s a gift to him from the baby. You can even wrap them .

My going home outfit last time were cute pajamas that i got for the occasion lol. I wanted something nice to take a picture of me and baby in. Also i wanted a button down shirt, easy to bf in and easy to pull up for nurses. In retrospect, i should have gotten winter pajamas since i delivered in the winter. Will def look into warm weather pajamas this time.

Sound machines are amazing in the hospital. When the nurses come in for checks having it on will help not wake up everyone

My daughter is two months younger then Rook and when she was just born you helped me so much! Now I’m at the beginning of my second pregnancy and have to say I’m a little bit jealous that you’re already 37 weeks along 😅 But at the same time so excited for you! Wishing you an easy and healthy labor and can’t wait to see the new baby!

The hospital packing list is on point! I will definitely refer to this video the next time I’m preparing for labor. Also, I would absolutely cover the hanging clothes in your closet with towels (like draped over the sides near the changing table) to protect from projectile excretions. 😛

As far as an outfit for going home.... I think this is dependent on the time of year. When I went to the hospital, it was quite warm, like shorts warm. When we were left.... it was snowing out.

I’m due in less than two weeks. Things are definitely getting “real.” I wonder, have you thought about what you’ll do about diaper bags? One bag? Two bags? Bags with separate inner bags for each child’s size diapers/extra clothes? I hadn’t given it any thought until yesterday!

Can confirm you can go the the hospital in labour with nothing packed and be fine 😅 had my husband and mum get things for me.
