I unsubscribed from all of those channels even though were there were some that had really good advice for prepping… I just couldn’t handle the motivation behind it. Don't be reluctant to talk about these issues Chuck. There is nothing more important right now and people need to share thoughts and ideas. For every one fear monger there is 10 grifters selling BS including many of the homestead channels. God gives us the strength to do and say the right things to affect change. @@EugeneYusMy dad fought for his life for 52 days in the hospital and almost didn’t make it. It was real, and we were stupid to attend Christmas morning with family who didn’t mask & expect to not get sick. I have long-lasting effects and haven’t been the same since Jan 2021 & am ready next time to just hang out and be a hermit with my elderly parents and enjoy not having to be around other people. ❤️ Not gonna argue with anybody about where it came from or who caused it. But - we should use our brains that God gave us and have enough connections with other farmers to weather whatever happens down the road.

Having the larder full going into fall was just simple common sense not too many years ago. Prior to the 1950's this is just how people lived in the countryside. Grocery stores and supermarkets are a fairly new invention. Live like Grandma and Grandpa lived and you are on the right track.

Thank you for such great advice, with no panic buttons. Did my very first canning yesterday, apple butter from free apples, my sister has 6 trees she is not planning to use and they are loaded. So will be adding apple sauce, jellys, jams, apple pie filling, and apple cider vinegar, and if I can find a press apple cider. It's a start, thanks again. Blessings and Prayers

Great advice to be prepared and have your stores. I didn't have any problems through the pandemic. Just kept homesteading through it. And yes, we got the virus, but were vaccinated and didn't get real sick. The only friends and family that died had not been vaccinated. Vaccination is also part of being prepared. I always merge skill, common sense, and technology for best results. As for everything going to be okay, that can't be said either. No more than somebody can say that the sky will fall tomorrow. All we can do is to do our best to prepare and keep living. With that being said, each year seems to be tougher with this crazy climate situation. I'm getting beside myself. I can do most anything, but I cannot fight climate craziness. Too much extremes. Unrelenting.

My Dad died from COVID...3 WEEKS in the hospital...Cousin was in a Coma for 3 months..they were Vacced...I survivived...almost 60 years old..no vaccine...no hospital...just sayin'
