I’m sort of glad the hubby doesn’t hunt .. looks like good delicious food there though.! I didn’t go to point but I seem to remember that UW Eau Claire had Turkey tet on Thursdays too and that was back in the late 70’s ! Your dish looked good though

Random question about hunting where you are. Do you have to have licenses and is there a limit per person? are you on your own property or do you all venture out? I know here in texas we have both so just curious.

Everyone needs a license and it is specific to an area of the state. It's a buck license and then on a specific day you can buy extra doe tags for certain areas. We are hunting on our own property.

I wonder if you could help me - not had the grandkids for a couple of school terms ( you know how it goes - they grow up and have outside interests ) and she wanted pancakes and when I went the get the flour from its airtight container there was what looked like fine black pepper flakes but they wriggled !!! in the UK we don't tend to freeze flour - it's sold in 1lb & 3lb bags - was it weavils ? should I freeze ? ( think I will ) don't store enough for those atomic airtight twister drums

Hi, Uk follower here too, yes love, it’s weevils. They are already in the flour. Well the eggs are. Freezing is an absolute must. It kills the eggs off. I’ve not experimented freezing then taking it out and storing in an airtight container after the process but im assuming that would work.
