Vaniter. To many people moan and forget how they lived their lives. As a young man, I was into my Cosworths, Lotus Carlton including my little R5 GT Turbos. Great fun. If I had fast cars now, I'd lose my licence in a heartbeat lol. Thanks for stopping by 👍

Great video soup looked proper yummy 😋 really interesting to see how dehydrating food can help with storage issues, you need a temporary slotted board to keep the flame calm when cooking but definitely intriguing to see the benefits of dehydrated cooking when in a tight situation for supplies.

My friend is a game keeper and he is a prepper but he keeps storing away ammo. He has 4 gun safes full . For his shotgun and 22 rifle

Before i went full time van life i had 2 chest freezers to store my things, before our lockdown I was watching China and how they had locked down so I slowly made sure I had rice, pasta etc (non perishables) in. I tend to always have a good stock off things anyway after years of mainly buying things when they are on offer 😂 We didn't visit a shop for 13 weeks even after lockdown ended, it was a great peaceful time 😍 anyway hello from van life in Montenegro👍

Hi Roamin Rob. I'm currently cruising around on a boat traveling along the Thames River. People I'm with, one is a full-time vanlifer that is now sold on the dehydrated foods I have been making over the last few days. Always great to show others the way lol. Thanks for your comment. All the best 👍

Looking great, instead of the rice and noodle combo I'd go for diced potatoes, if thy can get dried ,too... 👍 Your gas burner looks a bit scary, more like a kerosene open flame burner... 😱 Thx for showing! 👍👍👍

I get what you're saying about the burner. Has been checked, very recently. It's the breeze coming thru the door. Had the back door open as well, so flame was doing a dance for us. Yep diced potatoes has been used in my soups, and I do dehydrate them. Cheers as always for your valuable comment 👍

Sadly it doesn't look like I'd survive that long, as I don't eat fruit and there is very little in the way of veg that I would eat also, | either just plain don't like it or it gives my gag reflex a very good workout . I have been looking at dried meals for when I eventually get enough gear together to go camping with my Kayak. If I could get hold of the old Army ration packs I would be sorted as I loved them, So glad that I never had to deal with the boil in the bag of personal horror that is issued today. Dehydrating meat and the few veg that I will eat would be of interest in how to go about doing it.
