Hey Berto, Massive fan from Australia here. I'm a coach currently going through my first competition prep and fhese videos have been a fantastic insight aswell as super knowledgeable. I've got a little over 2 weeks until I jump on stage and I want to thank you for the consistent uploads and entertainment brother. Big love

Honestly bodyfat percentages don't matter except when tracking progress. A guy can be 8% with favorable fat distribution and look way leaner than he really is. Most competitors don't get below 6-7% pros included. 4% bodyfat is an extremely rare sight to see.
@Team3DMJ
@Team3DMJ 2 жыл бұрын
I’d argue we never really seen 4% tbh but yes visual data is king here. Way more than metrics

As a fellow cold sore sufferer, talk to a doctor about medicine for it. I finally got a prescription after getting fed up of a lifetime of cold sores. As soon as I start feeling one coming on, I take 3 famcyclovir, and it stops it in its tracks. Even with abreva, it used to take ~2 weeks for my cold sores to die. Now, they don’t even come in. And if you take citrulline, consider not taking it. Any time I start taking citrulline my rate of cold sores skyrockets.

I’ve gotten cold sores on my lips maybe 3x per year when stressed and used to use Abreva with decent results, i’d def recommend getting a prescription for Valtrex, I maybe get them 0-1x a year now at MOST and if I take it once I start feeling symptoms (tingly)- its barely noticeable and doesn’t last as long. So talk to your doctor! Hope this helps! p.s great job on the prep!! thank you for keeping us updated.

I recently found your channel and have been enjoying it so far, so great job! Speaking of a broad chest cavity, I want to mention to you that may actually be something you can change to a degree. Bodybuilders like Steve’s reeves and other guys around that time would specifically train for a broader and wider chest. I think he called it “ribcage” training. A couple exercises are the deep breathing dumbbell pullover and the deep breathing squat. I’ve personally seen results from the pullovers over the years. Don’t take my word for it though, give it a shot.

Alberto, which of both things satisfy you more? Seeing yourself getting leaner and leaner closer to show or your post-contest meal where you dont have to count calories?
@Team3DMJ
@Team3DMJ 2 жыл бұрын
Honestly I’ve done this so much that what I want more post show is a more evenly distributed focus across all my endeavors. I’ve minimized it but it’s still out of proportion as all major goals kinda should be
