Sir~ May i ask you a favor that how to adjust the torsion bar to raise/lower the front body height ... I need to do it in my garage. Any infomation/notice will be appreciated 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hello Ryan, it is hard to explain how to do it. But I will see how I go: 1. Measure from the centre of your hub to the guard, this is the start height. 2. Jack the front of the vehicle so both tyres are off the ground. Make sure to use vehicle stands, not just the jack. 3. Locate the aft of the torsion bars, above that you will find the adjuster. 4. Loosen the locking nut and allow it to be loose. Think they are 14mm fro memory. 5. I using a spanner or socket set hold the bottom bolt, and tighten the top 14mm counting the revolutions. Start with maybe 5-10 revolutions on both sides. 6. Re-tighten the lock nut. 7. Lower the front of the car and take it for a drive applying brakes to seat the adjustment, turning right and left. 8. Return to garage and check the heights on both sides. You can adjust if either side is lower then the other or they are still sitting low. If you wind them up to high, you will lose down travel the higher you go. Also your front suspension will be bouncy when you drive as you have twisted the torsion bars. If you have a winch or bull-bar, I recommend HD Torsion Bars. If this is confusing, you can google how to do it, or even on youtube. Cheers Dave

Sir~ may I ask that when we do 2" lifting, except the body being raising, any of the frame will be lifted? I know the diff ground clearance will be still the same, how about the other part of the frame ? any change on ground clearance of other part? Thanks for replying in advance🙏
@DestinationOffroad Жыл бұрын
Doing a suspension lift will lift the body and front diff, the rear diff is solid and the lifted coils push the chassis and body higher. The body lift just lifts the body off the chassis more.

Nice one Dave. That cleaner seemed to work pretty good. Whats the adjustment on the shocks? Is it just compression or rebounds as well? Cheers Jim
@DestinationOffroad3 жыл бұрын
The shock gives you the ability to fine tune your ride control to just about every condition, the shock has 9 different stages of adjustment, to fine tune the ride characteristics. Pretty sure it is the compression adjustment. I have it on 2 and it is amazing. Like driving on a cloud in the back. But still not floaty
