@steveporteroutdoorsohio4739 Thank you! 20 feet up, just setting in and a bolt snapped (on the top section) on my 15yo Lone Wolf Sit and climb. I had checked it all over, so freak accident. Didn't fall, but was stuck up there until I figured out how to get down. Now I get to go shopping!!

My climber JUST broke the other day. I'm now shopping for a saddle and sticks. Could you share what your equipment is?

Man, sorry to hear that. I hope you were not in it when it broke! I am using the Tethrd PhantomElite Saddle, 3 Tethrd One Sticks, Tethrd Predator Platform, and I use a Ropeman 1 Ascender for my Tether and my lineman belt. I originally started with the Summit Viper SD climber, which was nice and really comfortable, but I was limited as to what trees I could climb and even though it was light, it was still bulky and a pain to get into the woods. I've been saddle hunting for close to 4 years now, and I have no desire to ever go back to a climber. The mobility and versatility of saddle hunting is a game changer. Before upgrading to the One Sticks I used the Hawk Helium 3 step sticks and those worked great, but again were bulky and heavier than the One Sticks. I also replaced the strap on the Predator with Vital Ground Outdoors PSH, which is super light, quiet, and secure. www.vitalgroundoutdoors.com/product-page/psh-xl My buddy in this video has the new Unltralock Saddle and he loves that one. He sits most of the time and I lean most of the time in the tree.
