My favorite bit is the correlation between power poses and leadership positions and qualities. It would be an interesting long term study where groups who were trained in powerposing were compared to those who weren't as far as their career advancement is concerned.

Fabulous, Amy. Very much the kind of information I use when teaching performers. Also relates to the practice of NLP, of course. I love hearing more Science about brain-body relationships. I would have expected all that you have found.

Dana Johnson In her book she talks about holding something like a pen or a pointer in your hands to help with your posture.

Being America-centric, Amy Cuddy missed the opportunity to use former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau's gunslinger pose of the late 70s-early 80s.
