I’m calling it. We are in the perspective of the ghost, like the killer in In a Violent Nature, but there is a twist: one of the family members will be the PRESENCE by the end of the film, like The Bent-Neck Lady from The Haunting of Hill House. By the way, this aligns very much with Lucy Liu's old interview about her intimate ghost experiences.

I’m getting some heavvvvy “In a Violent Nature” vibes as far as the perspective is switched from the humans to the monster or ghost and I really dig it. The problem with In a Violent Nature for me is that is was just not as engaging at times and definitely didn’t take advantage of the concept to its fullest while focusing on a very meh villain perspective. Jason or Michael are fun to watch from victim eyes for sure but seeing them walk everywhere and do things in a slow way with no extra flair to it really drags the movie down. THIS seems way more promising if that’s what we’re seeing in this perspective. I’m excited, this could be a banger for January
