I've been doing a lot of radish recipes lately and this looks like the next one i need to try. Use the daikon to make carrot daikon pickles, soooo good! It's our go to add to stir fry or serve cold. Thank you for the recipe!

Bay leaves have tannins that keep your canned veggies from getting mushy. According to Mary of Mary's Nest you can put a tea bag at the bottom of the jar is you don't like bay. She says the tea bag will not affect the taste. I just use a bay leaf at the bottom of the jar and I don't notice any added flavor but some people have more sensitivity and can taste it. Thank you for sharing this recipe, I'll be harvesting my radishes in about a week and looking forward to trying this.
