As a bereaved parent myself, I am most impressed with his experience burying two of his children. In spite of his enormous medical and spiritual expertise, he couldn't prevent his own children from leaving our world for the next. These two horrific parenting experiences did not leave him a broken human being and that is a wonderful example for other similarly situated parents.

Many people are complaining about the celebration of our prophets birthday. In not going to say what, but I'm going to testify that he is our latter day prophet and when I watched the program I felt that Joseph Smith was standing behind him with his hands on his shoulders thanking our prophet for continuing with the restoration of what Joseph Smith started by the grace of our Savior Jesus Christ

I love our good Prophet! What a blessing to have a living prophet on the earth to guide us along the covenant path, so that we may go back to live with our heavenly families again. I am so excited for General Conference ~ every time I feel so extremely blessed to have such councel and wisdom given so freely and purely! I know it takes a lot of effort, both physically and spiritually, to gain the inspiration and spirit for these talks, and then to go through the long days of giving them at General Conference, especially considering the age of so many of these good brothers and sisters! Truly, the words of the hymn ring true "fear not, though the enemy deride, courage; for the Lord is on our side"!

Pres. NELSON LOVE this beautiful video. You have a beautiful large family. Not all of us are so blessed as I am sure you already know. As a heart surgeon you most likely realize the importance of stress and emotional pain on the heart, just as you understand how joy and hope can be good for the heart. I have q question dealing with families. I have received tons of conflicting compassionate remarks and others not so hopeful. I am speaking about miscarriages. We have been told by leaders in the past that if a baby is draws breath and dies that you will have that baby to raise after death. Science now tells us that a baby can breath in the womb. Unlike your blessed family....I was pregnant 10 times, but was able to give birth to one live baby. I usually lost them between the 3 to 5 Monty period. Now as a senior divorced woman, whose only child has gone inactive, I still morn for these babies.... and the LOVE and joy that could have been. We have been told that when Pres. Kimball had questions about the Blacks and the Priesthood that he and the 12 spent hours in prayer in theTemple to receive revelation concerning this. Could you please, for the sake of all of us thousands of mothers/fathers/ siblings/ grandparents etc... dealing with this losss PLEASE take this to Lord in hope for a revelation to answer this once and for all OFFICIALLY !!
