Absolutely, a standard has been set unless she's prosecuted, unfortunately her tryst backfired abruptly & boundlessly, because she is being investigated. Had perhaps her apology been more sincere people may have gone easier, as it was shallow per-say most were unconvinced genuine regret/ remorse prevailed. The public's sentiment in the comment section wasn't satisfied it was authentic, felt to be just more of the same an escape from responsibility ruse used. She knows the system & how to play it, but she far underestimated The People of the community, the entire public not being bamboozled by her antics in wanting... rather demanding accountability for her actions.

@K5ORD
@K5ORD Ай бұрын
@@scottodonnell7121 Understood! There is more to a complete and comprehensive investigation than just viewing the video. Remember, there are multiple concurrent investigations taking place. Investigators will need to interview each person involved in this. This includes The police chief, lieutenant, sergeant, each assisting officer who responded to the scene, the initial officer, and the district attorney. Before interviewing people they probably will need to subpoena, acquire, and review a ton of physical evidence. Examples could include: Business and personal cell phone data from all parties involved. This includes call logs, voicemail, text messaging, emails and GPS location data. Police voice radio communications, digital communications from police mobile computers, police vehicle data - including GPS data,, data from police speed detection equipment used, all police camera videos, etc. Then there is a canvass of the route, looking for additional video evidence from security camera systems, etc. There may be other items not listed here. Once the evidence is compiled and reviewed, and the interviews conducted, all information is analyzed for determinations/recommendations. Then there is the reporting (documentation). There will be many reports created, which will eventually lead to a final report. Then the report (from the Commission) needs to be sent to the Governor for her review and actions. This will take time to do everything right.

👌👏👍 How awfully strange what power does to people. Sometimes it appears all are vulnerable to power-lust & here evinced it's hypocrisy is appalling. Could seem almost as if no one is immune to powers seductive affluence, literally just takes them over. Likely many of those in the legal system start out bright-eyed with wonder gonna change the world, going to do something spectacular in make a difference, then in time recede....diminish & get changed within themselves for the worse. Takes a very strong person character wise to handle power which is all consuming. Pride enters in & arrogance follows with vain conceit attached. Before anyone knows it, they've become worse in the sense of personal perception than the criminals they are prosecuting. I say this because these officials lose self-awareness, do not perceive their own intentions any longer., nor know what direction they are proceeding going downhill inset integrity. Oftentimes there are many factors... experiences frequently involved why people commit crimes, but the lines are drawn in the sand between right & wrong & it's known the difference irregardless the actions. These vainly aspiring a majesty go farther into delusions of grandeur, purposely erasing those lines & feeling they are above the Law...the very same Law they have sworn by oath to uphold & that means themselves alongside everyone else the same. Magistrates are not above the Law & if they were to be held above, without question it would certainly amount to the collapse of the judiciary system.

Resignation & transfer of the case to the local bar association for the investigation! The Chief of police should resign too for just speaking with his employee during a traffic stop & "clarifying" what the officer did wrong! Anybody for not complying with would have been arrested. Here, we have a version of an unofficial agreement of public officials to disobey the law.

The cops that gave her special treatment should be fired and never allowed to work in Law Enforcement again.

The cop should have checked her bac. Her reaction to being pulled over was over the top. I think it was because she had been drinking.

And he never even asked her if she was drinking, which is SOP for all road pirates. For some reason they can detect the odor of alcohol months after it's use.
