“I Love Lucy was never just a title” - Desi

The President was friends with both Lucy and Desi, going back decades. Once Reagan, back in the 50s or 60s, Reagan was selling one of his horses that he bred at auction, and he turned to Desi and said, 'I don't think I'm getting enough money for this horse', and so Desi stepped in and put a large bid, buying the horse himself. That tells you something about the friendship between the two.

I recognise Lucy, of course, and Ray Charles, Hume Cronyn, and Jessica Tandy, but I’m afraid I don’t recognise the two other gentlemen sitting on the stage. They are obviously famous in America, and I hope someone can enlighten an ignorant Brit as to their identity?

Chronic Nostalgia Thank you very much for answering my question. I do know of Yehudi Menuhin but, as I have never been interested in classical music or the Arts, I am embarrassed to admit that I have never even heard of Antony Tudor. Even more so since I discover from your link that he was from my own country, England.
